Destiny kicks off this exciting group with her "never quit" attitude on the floor. A true leader whose basketball IQ will only get better. Long guard with length and good ball handling. Plus, good defense makes her a threat on both sides of the ball. Watch out for Destiny to have her share of explosive scoring games this season, boosting her rank and solidifying herself as one of the state's top point guards. This 5'5 senior has been playing Varsity since a freshman but had her breakout season the following year averaging 14.8pts a game, 4 rebounds, and 2.5 steals a game for Rivercrest High School in Wilson, AR. Burks increased her average in 23-24 finishing the season with 16.7pts a game. On defense she intercepted a pass and launched it from half and made it at the buzzer.... incredible awareness and focus under pressure! Destiny is a sure to guard to remember in this year's class!

This player reminds me of Jerzy Robinson, tough and muscles her way on the drive. She is a dominant wing who has a good shot from the outside. Shooting more will build confidence in her abilities from the perimeter. This senior plays 2 sports...basketball and softball. Jade had 32 strikeouts as a pitcher for Foreman and batted .339. Impressive and doing this all as a freshman at the time. While only playing 20 games last year, Hardwrick still managed to put up 17.9pts a game leading Foreman girls basketball team in that category. An athlete who can play either sport on a high level is special, and Jade truly has a special talent. I'm confident that she will increase her average this year and making it known who Jade Harwrick is in Arkansas girls high school basketball!

A junior guard for Dover and teammate of [player_tooltip player_id='417402' first='Logan' last='Young'], Kenzie was the leading scorer for Dover last year dropping in 19.4pts and 5.5 rebounds a game. This lefty leaves defenses boggled as she can spot up from three or create off the dribble. She hit five 3's in one contest and 3 more versus Lamar. Having game highs of 33, and 28 proves she is a " Walking Bucket. She has next level ability and can score at will. Her IQ is very good and will only get better. Pushing herself to strengthen other parts of her game is a natural process she should embrace. McCrotty has range and can consistently drain them from way beyond the mark. As a frosh she was called upon and delivered a solid performance finishing with 13.3pts a game. She has experience and grit and that will be key to her success this year. 24-25 season will be huge for this junior guard. I see this one starting out next year as one the state's premier guards in her class.

As a sophomore Lofton averaged 18.2pts a game enroute to a 1A state title for the Lady Warriors proving she's this month's top " Walking Bucket".... but that's not why. Maybe it's because last year she scored 40 points...seven times?! Maybe it's because she averaged 34.4pts a game last year? Or just maybe it's because she scored 50... twice! 52 in one contest and an all so impressive showing of 58 points versus Garret Memorial in her last game of the season on February 10th. Oaklee reached 1500 points last year and will definitely add to that number. She has 3 siblings, a sister Olivia who also played varsity last year while older brother Jason played for the boys' varsity team. Oaklee is more than a " Walking bucket" on my list, she also made the list of players who scored 50 points or more in 23-24 and made one more point than the highly recruited Aaliyah Chavez. 3x All State 1st team, All State MVP, Player of the Year 3xs for her Conference...you heard it all here 1st, and Oaklee is special. Firm on her faith growing up in Lockesburg, AR she puts her religion over sports. #10 likes the medical field if she decides to pursue college athletically or for academics. Consistently putting up numbers like this is crazy no matter what the division and Lofton is a gifted scorer who doesn't care about the recognition but shows her great love for the game

As " Walking Buckets" List has come to an end this month's prospects should move up in the rankings and bring much needed attention to the talent Arkansas has. It was a challenging list to compile but had fun creating it. Some notables that were already evaluated are [player_tooltip player_id='876312' first='Maddie' last='Mannion'] and [player_tooltip player_id='465493' first='Sidni' last='Middleton'] of Vilonia. Remember each month players will be added to the "Walking Buckets" list based off of performances throughout a consistent period of time. Walking Bucket Graphic derived from In Game Clothing.
