Around the state, you won't find many kids who can create shots off the dribble with Quinn's size. The River Falls native proved she could knock down shots in bunches and make pull-up shots consistently, which isn't the norm for wings in Wisconsin. The 6'0 wing should get scholarship-level looks from programs over the next year and continue to excel in the Big Rivers this season for the Wildcats.

I've been waiting for this season for Jirsa for over a year. The Verona guard has played behind scholarship-level talent in her first two seasons, and now it's her show to run. Jirsa has shown flashes in the previous AAU seasons of a player who can control games from the point of attack. Now, we'll see her do that for a high school season. Overall, the Big Eight doesn't have the depth of programs we see elsewhere. I'm eager to see what she can do against a similar caliber group in their conference, like Vel Phillips Memorial, who has the guard talent that will push her. Jirsa has all the athletic tools and skillset to be one of the better lead guards in the conference.

Among small school kids, Kroll is one of my favorite players to keep up with. I love her motor and ability to set the tone for an offense. Kroll is a willing passer and moves the ball quickly when playing in a zone offense, but can play through traffic as well as anyone. The Kewaunee guard can play on or away from the ball because of how much she moves away from the ball, which helps her get open shots on the perimeter because she's always looking for open pockets of space. The Storm guard will be one of the top guards in D4 this season.

The Denmark guard did an excellent job as one of the focal points of the Vikings' offense last season. Micolichek shot the ball well in her sophomore campaign and was the best creative force on Denmark's roster. However, the aspect of her game that intrigues me the most is what she can do once she gets into the paint. She's not afraid of playing through contact and has comfort using her pivot foot around the basket to find space. She's a lesser-known name in the class, but will be a reason Denmark is competitive again.
