Each player brings a different set of tools to the table, and there is always a role where players thrive playing high school basketball and grassroots basketball over the spring and summer. Sometimes I like to highlight players who excel in a particular phase of the game on both ends of the floor. In this article, we'll look at some perimeter shooting prospects who can turn some college coaches' heads.

The 6'0 wing from Port Washington is a versatile player on both ends of the floor. However, her length and ability to get her shot off quickly will translate to the next level. Rauch shot the ball well this past high school season with some volume and was as consistent as anyone could have hoped. I was also intrigued by her ability to create her shot off the dribble occasionally and by how she became more than a set shooter in her junior season.

Shelsta ended her junior season on a tear from beyond the arc and was a reason the Orioles were a game away from the state tournament this season. She started the year slowly, but once she hit her groove, Hartford played some of its best basketball of the season. Shelsta is as important to the Orioles' success as anyone, and with more responsibility coming over the next year, she may take off. She's a player who may pick up more interest this summer than some expect.

Like most small-school players, Medema does a little of everything on both ends of the floor. She has become one of the focal points of the Rockets on both ends of the floor. Her ability to create with the ball in her hands is a crucial aspect for her team to compete. She shot the ball at a high level as a spot shooter and has had to create off the dribble at times. She will be a player who could land at a regional program and thrive.

The Cameron guard has been an integral part of the Comets' success over the past three seasons. She has thrived in an off-ball role and shot the ball well. Her ability to be a consistent floor spacer and be a zone buster in her part of the state can elevate the ceiling of what her team can be, which is massive. She can space the floor anywhere she plays in her future, which will help her get on the floor wherever she lands.
