The Kingstree HS Lady Blazers got the night started off vs Conway HS. The Lady Blazers bring back some good talent from last year's squad for Head James Price. Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='490767' first='Naydia' last='Shaw'] anchors the middle down in the paint for the Lady Blazers. She can handle the rock at times up the floor and shows to have good passing skills from interior. Naydia was simply able to overpower defenders and score the ball around the cup - where she seems to be the most effective at times.

Lady Titans Rely on SENIORS:

Trinity Collegiate didn't play many bodies at times last year. This season looks to be the same for the Lady Titans in SCISA Class 4A. The Lady Titans will rely on services of UNSIGNED SENIORS [player_tooltip player_id='258135' first='Makayla' last='Legette'], [player_tooltip player_id='496272' first='Natalie' last='Pitts'] and [player_tooltip player_id='355927' first='Saleese' last='Kind'].

Legette really likes to play on the ball when she's not launching up threes from downtown. Makayla understands on how to get to her spots and move the ball around the perimeter to make plays for herself and her teammates.

Pitts played aggressive all night long down around the paint. Natalie is at her best when she shows to have a soft touch around the bucket. She certainly will carve out space and work for positioning down low. Pitts can step-out to the short corner or elbow and knockdown the jumper.

Saleese was able to run loose at times and looked to hunt for shots on the perimeter. She plays active on both ends of the court.

Autumn Comes Out Hot:

[player_tooltip player_id='369800' first='Autumn' last='Kind'] really came out HOT for the Lady Titans here today. The younger of the two sisters on this Lady Titans roster was able to connect on several three-pointers. She really looked to work her magic from corners. Autumn finished some drives to the bucket with her left-hand quite effectively. The junior Kind really stepped up her game today with her play and aggressiveness on the floor.

Hemingway and Lady Tigers:

The Conway HS Lady Tigers have a new Head Coach in Zack Jenerette. Jenerette recently took over the Lady Tigers within the past few weeks. The Lady Tigers will certainly go through some rough times this season with the lack of front court help and depth.

[player_tooltip player_id='451807' first='Rebecca' last='Hemingway'] will be counted onto carry the load for the Lady Tigers this coming season. Hemingway plays the game with an aggressive style of play at times. Rebecca was able to get in the lane and drop some floaters when she wasn't scoring the ball from the perimeter. She was able to slash to the rack. Rebecca will have to be on top of her game all season long for this Lady Tigers team to be in some games.

Lady Lions Need Help for Richburg:

The Loris HS Lady Lions will need some help to put around UNSIGNED Senior [player_tooltip player_id='342513' first='Janiya' last='Richburg'] this season. Richburg does a little bit of everything that doesn't show up in the box score at times for the Lady Lions. Janiya left-handed forward can play all over the floor for the Lady Lions. She brought the ball up the floor at times tonight while trying to get downhill to the rack.

Janiya really looks to throw long outlet passes every time she rebounds the ball off the glass. She certainly loves to play on contact and at times plays a little too over aggressive. Richburg stars in Track and Volleyball at the school with basketball being her top sport of choice according to her coach.

Leilani Morris a senior guard shared the backcourt at times with youngsters [player_tooltip player_id='987452' first='Angelina' last='Collins'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1047746' first='Leila' last='Yandle'].

[player_tooltip player_id='987452' first='Angelina' last='Collins'] a freshman really came out quick connecting on a few mid-range jumpers and dialing in from downtown. Angelina does a nice job of moving with-out the ball and making herself available for open looks on the floor. She showed a nice 1-2 dribble pullup at times. Angelina should see some good minutes this season for the Lady Sharks.

[player_tooltip player_id='1047746' first='Leila' last='Yandle'] just an 8th grader attends nearby St James Middle School. Yandle a member of the Class of 2029 we first saw back earlier this fall play. She really brings competitive edge to the floor for such a young age. Leila really plays the game with some grit toughness at times. Yandle seems to be very coachable and really shows a willingness to work hard at all times.

Raegan Tibbits, [player_tooltip player_id='1123451' first='Callie' last='Centracchio'], and Riley Williams all provided good minutes here tonight for the Lady Sharks. Tibbits a softball player in the spring really likes to play face-up to the basket from the forward position. Callie a small forward was able to find herself around the ball to make some plays today. Williams a left-handed guard played on the ball when she was in the game.

The Lady Sharks have a young roster and not much size at all this season. No problem, Head Coach Paul Hudacko and his crew will certainly be ready and to play in every game down in Murrells Inlet.

Host Lady Bears Win Nightcap:

The Carvers Bay HS Lady Bears won the nightcap over St James HS. The Lady Bears got strong play from junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='756309' first='Erykah' last='Brown']. Brown was constantly in the right place tonight time after time to make a play. Erykah showed some quick hands with her play in the passing lanes and being a on the ball defender. She connected on some short mid-range jumpers to set the tone. Brown really plays the game with good energy that feeds off to her teammates at times.

[player_tooltip player_id='175335' first='Jasmyn' last='Jenkins'] a lefthanded senior guard has received plenty of college interest this fall. Jenkins was able to get to the foul line on several occasions tonight with her aggressive play to the rack. Jenkins shares the backcourt with fellow senior [player_tooltip player_id='496206' first='Alana' last='Morris']. Morris a undersized guard prefers to play off the ball more at times. She made some big shots down the stretch tonight.

[player_tooltip player_id='668305' first='Jurnee' last='Blye'] patrols the middle for the Lady Bears. Blye still covering a knee injury missed a few bunnies here tonight at times. She does a good job of getting her hands out and staying active inside the paint. Blye will need to have a big season for the Lady Bears down in the paint to make some noise in Class 1A with the likes of Military Magnet Academy and now member Denmark-Olar HS.
