College Recruitment Update – November 22nd, 2024

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As we get into the high school season this next week, we are going to start to see more and more offers or commitments out of prospects as it has to do with their college recruitment. Kuhlers is a tyrant by the hoop and someone that gets a lot of production on both sides of the ball. At the next level, she is someone that is going to be very good defensively, while still working to grow her offensive game. Also important to note - this is someone that had a game during her Junior season in which she recorded 9 Blocks, just to give you an idea of how she operates. Kuhlers will attend DMACC for the next couple of years. Carr is someone that can be reliable, calm, and fundamental when that time comes. Following this Winter, Carr will take her ability to the college level and compete with DMACC for the next couple of years. This DMACC program is nationally recognized every season because of how good they are so this is a great stepping stone for someone like Carr. Haynes embodies what it means to be a leader, PG and great teammate. She is someone that controls how a game is going with the ball in her possession and she is really good at setting up others for success. In Central's system, she will be looked upon for some big minutes throughout her career and I think those moments will come early on. Tauber will be continuing on her athletic journey by playing Softball at UNI following these next two years. This just speaks to the type of athlete and gamer she is. This is someone that has worked in multiple sports for years and this past six months, she locked in her future at the following level because of that perseverance. This just demonstrates that hard work pays off. Producing solid players, good numbers, and an overall better than average record. Someone that has helped them in this journey is their Senior CG - [player_tooltip player_id='525596' first='Rysaiah' last='Sitzmann']. Sitzmann just ended up committing to Buena Vista to continue her basketball career for at least a few more seasons. For BV, Sitzmann moves around and does a little bit of everything. She is in charge of scoring, rebounding, assisting, playing adequate defense, and being a vocal leader to those around her. If she can keep up the hard-work and continues working on her weaknesses, then she is going to be someone we hear about more and more over these next few months.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
