CR Kennedy: Top Returners

She's got a great rip and go finish with either hand, she's poised under pressure off the dribble, and her jumper is solid from anywhere on the floor (and did I mention her disciplined defense?). She's an excellent communicator and a positive reinforcer on the floor. Skill-wise, she'll take defenders off the dribble in the lane, has a nice shot fake, and can finish with either hand with balance and patience. Moore showed discipline on switches as well and does a good job staying vertical while contesting shots. She's got quick hands on defense that led to a few tipped passes, has a quick trigger on her shot and is confident from behind the three point arc. The 5'7" sophomore did a good job finishing on both sides of the rim, stepping into passing lanes on multiple occasions, and even posting up on smaller defenders. I was especially impressed with Senters driving and finishing against the tallest player on the team with no hesitation. The junior averaged 6 points and 6 boards last year and I think she will continue to contribute and will make for a solid 1-2 punch with senior forward Lexi Moore. With such a guard-heavy Missouri Valley Conference this season, I think there will be ample opportunity for the 6'2" center to use her size to her advantage and bury defenders in the paint.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
