Team Outlook

“The Brookville Devils are gearing up for an exciting 2024-25 season, aiming to improve upon last year's 9-15 record. With a solid defensive foundation established, the team's key focus will be on enhancing ball control and shooting efficiency. The summer training camps at Urbana, Eaton, Valley View, and Transylvania University have laid the groundwork for better team cohesion, blending the talents of freshmen and seniors alike”- Coach Kummer

Brookville looks to make a solid run this season through a challenging Southwestern Buckeye League along with talented non-conference games against Butler, a rising Ansonia team and Tri County North will look to make this team ready for a strong season.

Brookville's goal will be to cut down on turnovers and become more of a consistent scoring team from the perimeter. Look for a good mix of returning players and new faces to lead the squad.

Players to Watch

Hunter Garnder, 2025

She will be a primary guard who will be responsible for handling pressure and controlling the offense. She is a great on-ball defender and does a great job with the tone of the game.

Jordyn Oliver, 2025

Jordyn is a wing who is that player who does what it takes for her team to be successful. She can guard multiple positions and is a great leader for the team. One of the seniors being counted on for consistency.

Megan Luebke, 2027

Her freshman year is behind her and she is a player who could be one to keep a solid eye on this season. She is very athletic and can jump out of the gym. Can score in all three phases of the game, look for her to be a player who shows consistency with the ball in her hands.

Ellie Dafler, 2027

Her career got off to a good start last year, and was a factor in the Blue Devils gameplan last year. She is a physical player in the paint and does what it takes to get the ball to her teammates. Very gritty worker and plays the game with a motor.

[player_tooltip player_id='959182' first='Jolie' last='Gudorf'], 2028

This is a young lady I can't wait to see hit the floor this season. She can do it all and can play any spot on the floor. She can score from anywhere, gets to the rim with authority and will drop the long deep three. She is just so smart for a freshman and can anticipate the game well on the defensive end.

Lauren Coleman, 2027

She does a nice job anywhere around the paint, can protest the rim and score around the basket. Can step out and score from the perimeter. The key will be how well she defends a physical post. If she does that well, it will go a long way to set the tone of the game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1235792' first='Kinley' last='Kummer'], 2028

LIke her fellow freshman Gudorf, it will be feet to the fire for this freshman as Kinley will provide energy and solid defense to the lineup. Not afraid to play through contact, she can get to the rim and finish.

Player With Breakout Potential
