One of the better rebounders and players at the CG position in Iowa comes to us in the form of [player_tooltip player_id='996545' first='Tori' last='White'] from Newton High School. White is someone that thrives off of hard-work and opportunity. She does a great job of finding a body when rebounding, she has an act for being in the correct place in the importent moments, she competes off of two feet, and she is a vocal leader. It makes sense that she has been a star at Newton for a few year now. If she plays with an aggressive edge this next six months, she is going love how things turn out by the end of the year.

[player_tooltip player_id='497067' first='Aubrie' last='Haynes'] recent commitment to Central (Dutch) for her future on the hardwood is a big relief off of her plate as she looks to lead her Bluejays team this Winter at the PG position. Haynes can handle, control her team's tempo, run the offense at a high rate, and she shows leadership through actions every time she takes the floor with her effort alone. She is a major piece as her team's motor this Winter and I can't wait to see what she puts together for her Senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1056686' first='Carryn' last='Sattler'] will step into her Senior season on the hardwood as a multiple sport athlete, who just put together a Cross Country season to remember. Sattler is only 5'9 but she competes out of the Forward position because she is one of the tallest prospects on her Varsity roster. Sattler does have the ability to step out and shoot the three ball but in the past it wasn't something that happened too often. More like once or twice a game. This Winter she is going to return as the big dawg on this roster from the looks of it. She is going to have chances to build on what she put in place last Winter and I'm sure she is excited about that.

During AAU season, [player_tooltip player_id='656438' first='Karrington' last='Asp'] of Western Dubuque High School competed on the UAA Circuit in Minnesota and showed everyone watching that she is a dominant force inside the lane and near the basket. Asp competes as a 6'2 PF and she demonstrates coordination, balance, a soft touch on the ball, and a high level of knowledge of situational awareness. When she has her back to the basket, she can go through someone or she can hit them with a counter move for an easier look. When she is 15FT out, she can square up and line up a simple jumpers. While on the outside, she can screen, seal, and get to the bucket at Will most of the time. All in all, she is a force to deal with and that will be on full display with Winter.

From the looks of it, [player_tooltip player_id='1056688' first='Meleah' last='Davis'] of Des Moines Hoover is going to be come back and be the Varsity ball handler a majority of the time for this upcoming season. Davis led her team last Winter with 1.5 APG, running the offense and trying to get everyone open looks in both the half/full courts. The goal this time around will be to cut the Turnovers Per Game, which is something that is more than doable look forward.

The shooting ability that [player_tooltip player_id='1056690' first='Katie' last='Scheckel'] plays with is effortless and eye opening. Scheckel is someone that moves between the inside and outside but she is definitely more comfortable letting it fly from behind the three point line. To add to that, every time she shoots it, it looks like it's going in or at least it looks like a clean attempt. This is not always the case but I think here it applies. Scheckel will play off of the ball once again this Winter but I still think she will be the most important piece to her team's puzzle. She does too many good things and every game she seems to put up a respectable stat line. If she can do that again this Winter, her team will have a lot of success down the line.

Powerful. Reliant. Skilled. These are three words to describe [player_tooltip player_id='833966' first='Lizzy' last='Frazell'] and the type of game she brings to the court. Frazell is 5'11 competing out of the CG position and she is a tough matchup for anyone at the high school level that might be trying to stay with her. She has the mixture of height, skill, and coordination that all college coaches love. Last Winter this was a prospect that made a big mark on her program and this time around, she is going to be looked upon as their leader in several key moments.

The amount of effort and athletic ability that Sara Man competes with is noteworthy. Mun plays at the top of her team's zone or press and she works hard creating chaos, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Offensively, she can dribble, pass, and finish at a thorough rate at the rim. At Denison-Schleswig High School, this is someone that should be the main producer by the the end of the year.
