PD Super Scrimmage: Noteworthy Players

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><br>Providence Day hosted their Super Scrimmage on Saturday where high school teams could come together as an official group to compete for the first time.  There were schools from across the southeast there hoping to get their seasons off to a hot start.  Let's take a look at some of the standouts from the event.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block off her range hitting her shot from deep.  She's very athletic moving well all across the court showing flashes of speed and a nice bounce.  She's tough on defense, too, being able to jump in front of effective making cuts to the hoop.  She can catch the ball in stride knowing exactly what she wants to do with it to score some points.  She scores through contact making some three point plays the consistently getting in the way on defense stopping passes and causing problems for her opponents.  She moved quickly jumping in the passing lanes, and she was hustling all over the court for any loose possession.  On offense, she had a nice reverse layup right when her opponent thought they were coming away with a stop.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- close out on defense being able to slide down into the help position and pop out to her opponent quickly when needed.  She hustled back on defense being ready to protect the basket blocking shots in attacking the basket battling pressure and getting to the rim.  She was tough going after rebounds on both ends of the court.  The range she has on her shot is apparent as she can easily shoot over on defense constantly jumping in front of passing lanes and immediately finding her teammate to make a play.  She reads the floor well sliding into the help position on defense to make sure she is
