Portia is going to be the top player for Newport and with some underclassman who have yet to show their game off at the varsity level, Polo should expect double teams often. She has been dealing with it already in fall league action but has played through the pressure in a big way. She can dribble through double teams and use her quickness to find her open teammates or get down-low in the paint to get the contact and get the bucket. She is a phenomenal game manager, being able to control the pace of the game well. 4 year coaches should have her on thier radars.

Lia is a fantastic point guard who is quick with the ball in her hands and can read defenses quickly. She does a great job at reading opposing defenses and attacking those weaknesses right away. She finds her teammates often and plays off the pick and roll smoothly and effectively. Hanson is a top player in the state and will have a great senior year and college career beyond.

Shayla is going to gather the attention of many, many Division 1 coaches as the years go on. She plays at an elite level already, showing she can score from all 3 levels and run the offense at the same time. She knows how to find her teammates often, always being unselfish on the court, supporting her teammates. Cordis handles the ball at a high level too, not turning the ball over often.

One of the top smaller school prospects in the state, being able to play at an elite level against any competition. She attacks gaps quickly and dishes the ball off to her teammates when the defense collapses on her in the paint. She runs the court well when pushing the ball in transition, hitting open teammates down the court or in the corner if she gets downhill.

Azy has a ton of size on the court and moves very well with the ball in her hands. Given her ability to play almost anywhere on the court, her natural passing ability shows no matter where she is. If she is in the post or the high post, her eyes are always up and looking cross court for open teammates, delivering accurate passes if they are open. She can run either spot in the pick and roll game at an elite level, being one of the few players in the state who can do so.
