6A: Week 4 Top 10

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>What a wild start to the season as a lot of teams have shown that they are not invincible and a few teams that might have been after thoughts are playing well right now.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#1 Copper Hills </strong>(Previous 1)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Grizzlies suffered a loss to a really good Grantsville team and they also survived a tough test against Brighton. They are getting a lot out of [player_tooltip player_id='788192' first='Skylie' last='Barker'] early and have gotten good play from a variety of players. [player_tooltip player_id='848843' first='Taylor' last='Johnson'] has had her moments and so has [player_tooltip player_id='789127' first='Ayla' last='Marston']. Johnson is a sleeper player at the next level. [player_tooltip player_id='788318' first='Aspen' last='Fraser'] continues to provide solid minutes and good physical play. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#2 Lone Peak</strong> (Previous 3)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Knights seem to be all in on their youth movement. They have been playing well and are getting [player_tooltip player_id='796745' first='Kennedy' last='Woolston'] help. [player_tooltip player_id='796473' first='Zuri' last='Nordstrom'] is playing well, especially on the defensive end. Tati Harness the Phoenix Prep transfer is starting to pick things up. Keep an eye on them as they are starting to play well. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#3 Riverton</strong> (UN Ranked)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Riverton is the surprise of 6A so far as they picked up a huge win against a good Lehi team and a big time win against Skyridge. [player_tooltip player_id='812050' first='Maggie' last='Hamblin'] and company are playing well [player_tooltip player_id='788191' first='Faythe' last='Stauffer'] is starting to stack big game after big game. It will be interesting to see how Week 4 will go as teams will not overlook them anymore. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#4 Syracuse</strong> (Previous 7)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Syracuse is among a few of the undefeated teams left and they have a tough test coming up against Westlake a team that is more than capable of knocking off anyone. Rachael McBride is playing well and blocking shots in the paint. [player_tooltip player_id='796823' first='Maylee' last='Anderson'] is shooting the ball really well. If Syracuse can continue to get production from their role players they will be tough to beat.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#5 Fremont </strong>(Previous 6)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Fremont had a brutal loss to Ridgeline but Ridgeline might be the best team in the state. Fremont is getting good play from a few different layers in every game they have played so far. Abigail Christiansen had a great game the last time they suited up. Bella Nelson has been playing well and this team is still dangerous. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#7 Bingham</strong> (Previous 9)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Bingham has a tough schedule and they seem to be figuring it out. They played a close game against Skyridge and had two solid wins against Lehi and American Fork. [player_tooltip player_id='788161' first='Addy' last='Horsley'] has been tough as nails as she is one of those solid two way players that play at a high level. [player_tooltip player_id='789112' first='Lena' last='Casperson'] has been playing great and so has [player_tooltip player_id='788289' first='Iman' last='Finau']. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#8 Lehi </strong>(UN Ranked)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Lehi has been very toughand they will be battle tested for sure as they have been playing some of the best teams in the state early. They seem to find ways to win and they find ways to be within a few posessions and stay in striking distance. The development of [player_tooltip player_id='950220' first='Kelcee' last='Rasmussen'] has been great. [player_tooltip player_id='1142936' first='Brynlee' last='Cook'] and [player_tooltip player_id='818649' first='Ellie' last='Hill'] are picking things up. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#9 Mountain Ridge </strong>(Previous 5)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Mountain Ridge is in teh thick of their tough schedule. They have suffered 3 losses in teh last 4 games. They continue to get a lot out of [player_tooltip player_id='790536' first='Kya' last='Newton'] and you can see [player_tooltip player_id='805788' first='Kaylee' last='Montgomery'] starting to coma along. [player_tooltip player_id='796847' first='Jessica' last='Maynard'] has been solid. [player_tooltip player_id='866703' first='Jada' last='Jangard'] has also been solid. They should rattle off a few more wins in teh next few games. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#10 Corner Canyon</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Chargers are getting great play from [player_tooltip player_id='789152' first='Aubrey' last='Mulitalo'] and Sorelle Nielsen. They had a game slip away against Cedar Valley but with only one loss and 6 of 7 very winnable games in wait they should be in great shape heading into region play. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
