She is second in points per game (12.0) and the teams leading rebounder (6.4). Macy put up a double-double in the first game of the season with 19 points and 10 rebounds in a win over South Laurel. She also had a team-high 19 points and 8 rebounds against Madison Southern yesterday at the White, Greer, Maggard Holiday Classic. Piper followed that performance with 21 points and 7 boards in a district matchup against Dunbar, then stuffed the stat sheet with 19 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists, and 4 steals against Bryan Station on Day 1 of the Central Bank Jim Rose Classic. Her ability to make an impact in a myriad of ways led the Lady Eagles to their first 4-0 start in 14 years and they are now 8-1 on the season.
