[player_tooltip player_id='1047022' first='Payton' last='Burgess'] debut at no. 67 on the list. She is off to a terrific start in her junior season. She is averaging 15.8 points along with a team-leading 14.2 rebounds per game. Her performance against Bath County last week will be talked about for a very long time. She dropped 23 points and piled up 24 rebounds, which matched the all-time rebounding record at Menifee County. Payton has good size, length, and mobility. She scores at high rate in the paint, knows how to time blocks well, and is relentless on the glass. Her contribution has been key to the Lady Cats undefeated start.

Western Hills is off to a pretty good start this season and Junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1099871' first='Bry'e' last='Wolfe'] is one of the reasons why. She is averaging 15.2 PPG, 5.3 RPG, and has kept a steady head at the line shooting 80.6% (25 for 31). Bry'e had two standout performances in week one. She had 20 points and 10 rebounds against Casey County, and followed it up with another 20 points and 6 rebounds against Holy Cross (Louisville). Her defensive tenacity and ability to provide instant offense will be vital for her teams success as the season goes along.

[player_tooltip player_id='1102028' first='Paige' last='Harrison'] is averaging 9.8 points and 9.8 rebounds a game for Meade County so far this season. She has a combination of size and athleticism that gives her an edge the boards and I like how effective she is in the pick-and-roll. Paige is playing good basketball and should continue to help keep her team in the win column this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1097691' first='Bella' last='Bretz'] is playing at a high level in her junior season Lexington Catholic. Bella is more known for what she does on the softball field, but she is a good ball player to. In 5 games played Bella is second in scoring (9 PPG) and the teams leading rebounder (8.8 RPG). She had a big game against Bryan Station last week. She finished with a team-high 25 points, 7 rebounds, and shot 10/13 from the free throw line. Bella also had 9 points and a 14 rebounds on Saturday against Lincoln County.

Another new name on the list is [player_tooltip player_id='1104905' first='Regan' last='Ring']. The 6-foot-1 forward/center at Bourbon County is averaging a double-double with 11.6 points and 10.8 rebounds a game. Regan's ability to score inside puts pressure on the rim, I like how shes goes up strong with two hands for rebounds and the way she stays big down low and uses her size and length to protect the basket.
