There's a transition to be made every year and one of the biggest is going from middle school basketball to playing in high school because let's be honest, I have seen several players drop over 40 in a middle school game who panned out because the competition gets stiffer, the game is faster and the opposition is usually stronger but these young ladies stood out

Rossini has some solid upside as she's been thrown into the fire early and is doing a good job of handling it. She's going to get stronger and quicker, that's evident, yet doing the simple things like "decision making" and "comprehension" will take her a long way. She understands positioning to rebound against taller players yet she also has solid court vision in the set as well as in transition. Her deceptive first step also looked good as she attacked and scored off the dribble

Singleton is an athletic guard who uses her athleticism on both ends, so let me start with the "on the ball" heat she showed me throughout the game as she did a good job defending baseline to baseline, as well as in the set yet her first step is going to be special as she's already showing she can blow by the defender to score, after contact, using nice body control. She also played the passing lane

Ademuwagun is one of the most explosive guards in Texas, right now, all classes included and as a REAL EVALUATOR, I know certain things. I also LOVE certain things you can't teach, like DESIRE and MINDSET and hers is "you can't stop me" so seeing her blazing past the defender in the set as well as in trasition to score layups, at times acrobatically, is a treat yet her jumper, stop and pop included are becoming lethal. Her "on the ball" defense needs to be mentioned, along with her court vision

Angapen falls into that #sizedontmatter group I love to hashtag and her getting after it on both ends had me smiling. She matched up defensively and did a good job in both the half and full court but the key to her game offensively is that she not only got hers "in the flow" but she "played within herself". Her court vision in the set was another plus

Bell as in "ring my" did sound some alarms for me as she showed she could not only create her shot under pressure but also create spacing to get it off and knock it down. Her midrange looks pretty good so that's a major plus but she also showed she could set the defender up and attack the basket from multiple spots and finish strongly. Her defense was also solid, yep, it the set and full-court
