Hamilton/Cesar Chavez Notes

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On <strong>December 12^th</strong> the <strong>Hamilton Huskies</strong> traveled to <strong>Laveen</strong> to take on the <strong>Cesar Chavez Champions</strong>. From the jump <strong>Chavez</strong> imposed their will on Hamilton. The defensive pressure of the Champions either caused turnovers or rushed shots. Whether it was slashing to the rim for a basket or hitting the mid-range shot, LaKeisha was successful. Once she got started though she was almost unstoppable. Despite being double teamed she still managed to establish position in the paint and finish with either hand around the rim. Her quick feet and active hands would not let the opposing offense get comfortable at all. She showed good toughness and ballhandling skills while handling the defensive pressure. She hit multiple perimeter shots in the 2^nd half to stop runs. She played very tough defense throughout the game, making ballhandlers uncomfortable all game long.
