The two articles I have coming out today aren't what I usually do. First, I'll highlight some kids who've jumped out on streams I've watched for various reasons, and the second one will highlight this week of upsets across the state.

The amount of pressure the Manitowoc Lincoln guard puts on the rim is unbelievable. She's aggressive in her will to get downhill, and she punishes teams fouling her by making almost every free throw she takes. Bolchen doesn't have a massive reputation around the state, but she'll be a headache for FRCC teams to defend because she's relentless. Last night against Bay Port is the best example of that.

Few kids have the capability of doing what Richardson can. She's a creative guard who scores in bunches. The East guard had an excellent game against La Follette, scoring 47 points and knocking down seven three-pointers. She has to shoot with volume at the high school level, but honestly, I believe she'll be more efficient once she gets to the next level and has more talent around her. Her name has floated around college coaches' offices this past month.

The Shawano native is one of the most underrated wings in her class. Due to the immense talent in her class in the Midwest, she's been looked past in favor of more premier names around the Midwest. However, she plugs away and continues to be a force the Hawks' program hasn't seen before. She'll shoot the ball well at the next level, has high-end athleticism, and uses her motor to make plays on the defensive end. Nordin had her Hawks team competing against a solid Oostburg team before having to sit out with foul trouble.

I could watch Dahl play basketball every day and never get bored. The way she plays is fun to watch. Her motor runs high on both ends of the floor, gets downhill whenever, and doesn't predetermine what to do with the ball. She reads and reacts well, which suits her duties as a lead guard. Dahl will be a first-team all-conference selection in the Rock Valley again this season because all she does is find ways to make winning plays. Dahl is another talented kid who may not get the statewide recognition she deserves. If you get a chance to watch her play, I couldn't recommend making the trip more.
