Often high level seniors like Megehee look like they see the game in slow motion. And that's exactly how it felt watching big time shotmaker show off other skilled aspects of her game in a blowout victory for the Lady Wolves. One play in the second quarter she tipped a pass, scooped up the loose ball, took a dribble, then executed a perfect ball fake that had the defending going the other way and she scored an easy two at the rim. She tracked down long rebounds, even swatted a couple shots on defense. It was a common theme from her, as she made big time plays that looked like they were on easy mode. It wasn't a game where her volume scoring was required, as everyone ate for the Lady Wolves. But she did drill a nasty stepback three early on that helped set the tone in their wire to wire victory.

Scrappy guard/wing that often found herself around the ball and in position to make big plays in a Thursday night win for McGuinness. Very active on the glass, on both ends of the court. Also causes deflections and steals on defense. Variety of finishes and good touch around the rim on offense. Key part of a complete team performance, that by doing the little things added up to a quality early season victory for the Lady Irish.

Joined her teammate Megehee in hitting big time jumpers and being active on defense. Good vision in transition, making the smart and effective pitch aheads to create easy scoring opportunties. Long armed guard that can do a bit of everything and is forming a very strong one-two punch for a Wolves team looking to make a push in 5A.

Cooper's active hands and good anticipatory skills on defense led to steals and blocks. On offense, she has a good combo of playing strong but with finesse. Has strong footwork, head and ball fakes to avoid/create space from defenders when driving. Still looks to have some adjustment to the speed of the defense at the varsity level. Had a first quarter drive where a cross and headfake left her defender in the dust, but two helpside defenders slid over and she forced a contested shot while two teammates were left open. Little improvements to her vision and reading of the game likely will come with experience for the exciting freshman, who already has a great skill foundation.

Jumper was on point, especially during an attempt to rally in the fourth quarter. Very important floor spacer for Harrah, with a nice quick and compact release from three. Finds some other spots to score at the rim as well, good all around offensive threat. But shooting appears to be her calling card and that's a very valuable trait when it comes to being recruitable to college coaches.

The junior guard had an outstanding display of passing and plays at a good pace. Can speed it up or slow it down, and quickly make adjustments and reads based on how the defense played her. Had at least three assists, with a couple more great feeds. Some of her dimes came in transition after she made plays to force turnovers. Was quieter as a scorer, but also plays under control in that regarded. Including a good two foot stop, pump fake and step through score in the second half.
