Spring Valley High School: Team Recognition

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Spring Valley Lady Wolves are off to a hot start! The 6-0 start is no easy feature! I have watched some of the individual athletes with their respected AAU teams. However, this Spring Valley team is different. This is a team full of athletes that play unselfishly and together. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Lady Wolves walked in the Greeneville gym and defeated Daniel Boone. [player_tooltip player_id='728706' first='Sophi' last='Hutchinson'] was the player of the game by pouring in 24 points and adding 6 assists, 6 steals, and 5 rebounds. Sophi is an incredibly unselfish athlete that will continue to shine. In my opinion, SVHS had 4 players of the game. [player_tooltip player_id='384101' first='Allie' last='Daniels'] (West Virginia Wesleyan commit) is a workhorse! Allie finished with 9 points, 11 rebounds, and 2 steals. Next, you have [player_tooltip player_id='384069' first='Ella' last='Giles'] (West Liberty commit) that had 10 points, 7 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 assists. Last, [player_tooltip player_id='570278' first='Brooklyn' last='Ellis'] (the stock riser) provided 16 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Lady Wolves also defeated a tough Bearden team! Ellis earned the player of the game honors with 17 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 steals. Again, numerous athletes deserve this accolade. The unsung hero that stepped up huge was [player_tooltip player_id='1261648' first='Emma' last='Edwards']. Yes, start the chants, "SHE'S A FRESHMAN" - Edwards finished with 7 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 steals. [player_tooltip player_id='1224997' first='Lucy' last='Jackson'] also stepped up and added 8 points and 2 rebounds! Giles finished with 9 points and 2 assists. Hutchinson finished with 9 assists, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Spring Valley Lady Wolves are well coached, well balanced, and contenders for a state championship! Their next matchup in the Andrew Johnson Bank Ladies' Classic is against a tough Marist team out of Georgia. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Larry Brown said it best, "All the successful teams I've ever seen have three characteristics: They play unselfish, they play together, and they play hard." This Spring Valley team plays unselfish, together, and extremely hard! </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>To any names that were not mentioned, YOU matter!!! They are currently making noise in the great state of Tennessee.
