Tennessee 2025 Women’s Basketball Stars Unveiled

We have had a lot of ladies who have played this game who have gone onto do great things. I am not just talking about the recent graduate classes, but mothers and grandmother's who competed on some of these same hallowed courts our athletes hoop on today. This 2025 class is just a part of the fabric that makes this women's hoops culture special. Whatever city you reside in, whatever side of the state you are on, this game is truly amazing, and this 25 class has represented this roundball culture very well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As I mentioned, the 2025 class has a lot of talent within its ranks. If you were to look at the 2025 rankings that just dropped, from top to bottom you have young ladies who can get the job done. From putting the ball in the hole to contributing on the defensive end, this class is filled with players who are quote “stars” as well as consistent role players who “star” at their role. This class has grown as a whole, with kids who have risen to become district players, Miss Tennessee winners, state champions, and soon to be collegiate athletes. They are student athletes who are solid human beings not only on the hardwood, but in the community and classroom as well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This is part 2 of the 2025 rankings (let's call it early season rankings as there will be one that drops in the spring for this class as well). The young ladies listed have caught my eye with their style of play and how they have risen above the competition. Like everyone else, they bring a lot to the table for their ball club. She signed with MTSU to play soccer, however her skill sets transfer over to the hardwood. A hard nose athlete who has tremendous stamina for one. I mean the energy level of this kid is crazy good as she is always hustling from one end to the other. She can score from multiple spots on the floor, display active hands and feet which lead to turnover opportunities, and competes for every loose ball there is. Let me go ahead and add she rebounds the basketball at a high rate. She plays a significant role in this newly built Lipscomb Academy squad. She brings the juice and her teammates feed off her energy. People knew her around the Metro Nashville area, but I think this summer she made a statement and her name has reached well beyond. This kid is a tough competitor that can play with the ball in her hands or on the wing. She can pull it from the arc or attack the gaps to finish in the paint. She is a solid on ball defender and is great in helpside where she can read the situation well and jump the gap to get a steal. She impacts the game in more ways than one. Can be utilized in the screen game and can flash to open spots in the interior, anything close to the basket or even in the mid-range, she excels at. Big time contributor on the boards, this kid competes and just gets it done. Has great size and length, she just gets after it. A late bloomer who is playing with a lot of poise and confidence. A 3 level scorer who can handle the rock, put it on the floor to finish at the rim, or unleash her trigger from the arc. A heady player who reads and reacts to situations well. She is solid on the defensive end as well, keeping the opposition in front. She shows up when the lights come on, doing her part to help propel her club to a victory. This kid has put in the work and you can tell she loves the game. A combo guard who can handle the ball or attack from the wings. She can shoot it from the arc at a high clip or take it below the arc and finish at the rim. She gets after it on each possession, being a part of the play in some facet. Offensively, she is going to make the right play or the right read that finishes in a favorable outcome. Defensively, she is going to get a stop, rebound, or get a steal. She is active and knows when to attack. Her game has grown tremendously.
