<p>I will be a year older when I write my first report of 2025 and look forward to getting into the gym on Friday Nights in January.</p>

<p>During the holiday break, I will continue looking for athletes to add to our Kansas rankings.</p>

<p>Here is a quick look at six athletes who averaged at least five assists per game in December.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1162144' first='Kori' last='Wagner']</strong>, 5'4”, PG, Atchinson County, ‘25</p>

<p>Wagner is the unofficial leader in assists at the holiday break. She is averaging 6.4 assists in five games. She is also scoring at a 9.2-point-per-game pace and is grabbing 6.4 rebounds per contest.</p>

<p><strong>Averie Stithem</strong>, 5'7”, CG, Royal Valley, ‘25</p>

<p>Royal Valley's Stithem has dished out 5.7 assists in three games for the Panthers. The senior guard is a pass-first point guard scoring 4.3 points per game and grabbing 3.3 rebounds per contest.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1114884' first='Jaelyn' last='Spangler']</strong>, 5'5”, PG, Western Plains, ‘27</p>

<p>The top assist leader in the Kansas Class of 2027 is Western Plains' Spangler. She is averaging 5.6 assists in five games. She is filling her sophomore season stat line averaging 6.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, and four steals per game.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='349456' first='Marayah' last='Coleman']</strong>, 6'2”, SF, Goddard, ‘25</p>

<p>The first ‘Big” on this list is Goddard's Coleman. The forward has dished out 5.5 assists in two games reported. She has also scored eight points per game giving the Lions an impressive inside-out option for their offense. Coleman is grabbing 5.5 rebounds per game and is ranked No. 38 overall in Kansas Class of 2025.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='719101' first='Macayla' last='Askew']</strong>, 6'0”, SF, Derby, ‘26</p>

<p>Askew is currently the No. 1 ranked athlete in the Kansas Class of 2026. She has an average of 5.5 assists per game in two contests. She has scored 12 points, and grabbed 6.5 rebounds per game. Askew has also collected 10 steals in two contests.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1162134' first='Allison' last='Adams']</strong>, 5'6”, CG, Wakefield ‘25</p>

<p>The Wakefield Bombers' leader in assists is Adams. She is posting solid numbers across the board with averages of 5.2 assists, 5.2 rebounds, 12.8 points, and two steals per game.</p>
