<p class="text-gray-700">Hobbs senior and Air Force commit [player_tooltip player_id='458555' first='Bhret' last='Clay'] had a stellar tournament on both ends of the floor. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Clay scored the rock at multiple levels while also playing tenacious defense. In the championship game, Clay had a game-high 25 points for the Eagles, who defeated Kirtland Central 83-49.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Tsosie impressed with her shooting, particularly in catch and shoot situations. Across all four games, the freshman was knocking down three-pointers with ease for Kirtland Central. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">With excellent footwork and mechanics, Tsosie generated and connected on looks that were both heavily contested and wide-open.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Benally's impactfulness as a two-way play-maker was evident for the Matadors who took home a 3rd place finish. However, Benally only played 5 minutes in the third place game vs Rio Rancho. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">In the end, the senior point-guard ended the Metro tournament, averaging a quiet 14.2 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Martinez averaged 13.5 points for the Rams, reaching double-figures in three of the four games. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Although just a freshman, Martinez had a high-usage rate thanks to her abilities as a three-point shooter and scorer off the bounce.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Throughout the tournament, Cunningham made winning plays on both ends of the floor for Hobbs. Defensively, the lanky senior forward seemed to always be in a good position to alter/block shots. On the flip-side, Cunningham used her length to clean the offensive glass and convert relief points around the basket. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Throughout the tournament, Clani used a smooth euro-step inside the paint-area typically after attacking close-outs. Furthermore, Clani displayed the ability to finish with her off hand (left) when operating in the lane. That said, the crafty guard also did a good job of spacing the floor for the runner-up Broncos.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Bouldin, who had double-figures in all four games, which includes two games with 20+ points, did a fantastic job of stretching the floor and getting to the charity-stripe.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">In all, Bouldin put up 18.2 points per game, shooting 40 percent from the field, while also averaging 4.5 rebounds and 4.5 steals.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Espinoza posted a commanding 17.0 points per game, while lighting it up from distance. When it was all said and done, Espinoza totaled 12 three-pointers for the Hawks</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">The 5'9" Giddings averaged an efficient 12.5 points and 5.7 rebounds, shooting 50 percent overall. In the 3rd place game, Giddings had a team-high 16 points.</p>
