I keep copious notes that I consult throughout a player's high school career. Entering the 2025 season I already had a few hundred names and information (often incomplete) for the 2026 class. Despite the number I am always discovering new-to-me players. Between perusing Hudl, Maxpreps, X; watching archived or live games streamed online; reading content from my PGH Colleagues and other media sources; and getting in the gym I am always stumbling across new-to-me players. Several I have already written about. Enjoy this look at several more.

[player_tooltip player_id='1154634' first='Avery' last='Baer'], 5'7", PG/SG, Chapman - Baer has a quick release with good three point range.. She also has solid speed with the ball and the ability to finish challenged drives. I like her hops challenging interior shots and that she makes quick but catchable passes down the floor.

Sydney Cinotto, 5'5", CG, De Soto - I always love seeing a player that does a good job of showing the ball quickly before finishing a shot. She does that well on the drive. Cinotto has good speed with the ball but her smooth perimeter shot is roughly a count slow.

[player_tooltip player_id='1154649' first='Mia' last='Hansen'], 5'9", SF, Blue Valley Southwest - There is a lot to like about Hansen's game. She runs her lane well in transition and does so with good speed. Hansen has good hands to catch and finish athletically on the fly. I really like her ability to score the challenged layup with either hand.

[player_tooltip player_id='1154660' first='Fionna' last='Morgan'], 5'10", SF, Berean Academy - In a recent loss that I caught at Inman Morgan showed herself to be the Warriors' best all-around player. With an average+ build and good length she put up 16 points. Heady with quick hands I counted at least 5 steals that she picked up. Morgan works both inside and out. On the interior I would like to see more consistency posting up, too often her balance is off and the target she shows is hard to hit. Morgan has good bounce going back up off a catch to get a hoop.

[player_tooltip player_id='1042539' first='Lani' last='Speer'], 5'10", PF, Dighton - Speer brings good length, movement running the floor and flashing to get a catch in the half court. Defensively she sits down and chops her feet closing out on the perimeter as well as walls up well against interior shots.
