My Takeaways!

I've watched numerous games this season and below are a list of athletes that you need to know:    Despite the losses, do not look past [player_tooltip player_id='816656' first='Addi' last='Gamble'] and this Clinton team! Addi is a fierce competitor that works extremely hard on both ends of the court. In October of 2024, Gamble received her first offer to play collegiately at Bryan College. I know this was the first, but it will not be the last! Gamble continues to be a lockdown defender. She's a smart guard that loves to get her teammates involved. Jokic once stated, "An assist makes two people happy!" Gamble is extremely unselfish and takes pride in getting her teammates the ball. She's also a strong guard that can get to the rim and finish! Keep your eyes on Addi throughout the rest of this season and during AAU!     Where can we start with Jayden? This athlete is excelling on all cylinders! I've broken down film and there is never too many great things that you can say about an athlete. She has college ready size and length! She already holds an offer from Carson-Newman! Kitts has exceptional court vision. She is the athlete that will pass up the good shot for the better one. She has led her team to a 15-3 record. She is close to averaging 9 points and 7 assists per game. How many sophomore's stat lines looks like this: 8.3 points, 6.3 steals, 6.9 assists, and 5.9 rebounds per game?! Yes, she is having a breakout sophomore season. This kid is an example of how we get it wrong! She's not #199 overall. She's definitely in my top 10-15 in this tough '27 class! Keep all eyes on Kitts and this Campbell County team! Let's add, East TN Air has picked up a stellar one for AAU season!     I love the athletes that work exceptionally hard! Moore is one of those athletes. She's the kid that puts the extra time in. She does a great job of getting to the rim. She has a niche for finding the open gaps and spaces on the floor. She continues to impact games on both sides of the court without the ball in her hands. Ansley is a fundamentally sound athlete that plays smart & extremely hard. She will find a way to get to the rim and get her team a bucket! Moore continues to knock down outside shots. The work ethic that Ansley continues to show in the classroom and in numerous sports will separate her from others!     Abby is a SPECIAL athlete! This kid understands how to play the game the right way. I love how nothing is forced and how she lets the game come to her! The sophomore just put up 9 points, 9 assists, and 7 rebounds in a game against TKA. Roberts is mentally tough and she is definitely one of the savviest players. She's quick with the ball in her hands. She's exceptional with the mid-range shot. She has excellent court vision! She's a strong defender. She's an elite athlete that you want on your team at the next level.     Cox is ready every time that her number is called. She continues to be an elite defender! Jacy is fast with the ball in her hands. She has played solid minutes for the talented Alcoa team. Jacy has put up stats like this one that earned her a player of the week; 15 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals against Stone Memorial back in December. She also poured in 8 points and added 3 steals against Oneida! She continues to do whatever is needed to help Alcoa win games!
