I have spoken on Gamble’s defense numerous times throughout her basketball career, and her defense remains at the top. Yes, she will give up a few tough fouls, but she is going to make sure to make up for it! Addi’s defensive intensity remains the best. She does not take a play off on either side of the floor. Yes, she can run your offense. However, her defense stands out extremely fast because she is always around the ball. She is an elite defender, and more eyes should be on this one!

If you watch film, go back and watch this game! Let me know if you can count how many times Gamble touched the ball on defense. How many deflections in the first quarter alone? I can’t say enough about how great her defensive intensity is and how she stays after it on defense! The guard picked up steal after steal. She deserves every defensive accolade that one can give! She was a game changer, and she changed the momentum in the 2nd quarter to give her team a lead going in at the half. I love the physicality that Gamble plays with. Gamble hit the HUGE 3 with less than 30 seconds in the game to give her team the lead. She then went down and made a HUGE block with 11 seconds left in the game. Gamble came up with another block right after that one. Despite fouling out, she played a magnificent game!

Gamble is a relentless defender. She won’t pick up 2 steals from the first quarter in the stat column, but she forced the 2 turnovers! She does an incredible job defensively. She has her hands on the ball more than anyone! She continues to fill up an entire stat sheet. Gamble is the athlete that disrupts the other team’s rhythm. She disrupted Anderson County the entire game. Offensively, Addi did a great job attacking the rim. She was able to get to the line on numerous occasions. Despite the loss, Addi was the defensive MVP!

Despite the losses, do not look past Addi Gamble Addi Gamble 5'6" | SG Clinton | 2026 State TN and this Clinton team! Addi is a fierce competitor that works extremely hard on both ends of the court. In October of 2024, Gamble received her first offer to play collegiately at Bryan College. I know this was the first, but it will not be the last! Gamble continues to be a lockdown defender. She’s a smart guard that loves to get her teammates involved. Jokic once stated, “An assist makes two people happy!” Gamble is extremely unselfish and takes pride in getting her teammates the ball. She’s also a strong guard that can get to the rim and finish! Keep your eyes on Addi throughout the rest of this season and during AAU!

Gamble impacts the game not just on both sides of the ball, but across the entire stat sheet. She does a bit of everything: she’s turned herself into a big time shoot, creates for others off the bounce, and rebounds well from the guard position. She’s also an elite level defender. She quietly had a huge year for Clinton last season, and is just getting better and better.

Gamble is one of my favorite guards to watch play! This athlete gets after it on both ends of the floor at all times! She’s a point guard that knows exactly how to lead a team. She can play off the ball well too. She consistently knocked down open 3’s for her team. Addi is a good ball handler with a great understanding of the game. She may be one of the most underrated athletes in the state, but she impressed MANY people that watched her during the Elite 80!

Gamble’s stock took a major jump this weekend as she was certainly the most important player for Trotters ’26 Williams. She averaged 8.4 points per game, and led the team in rebounds, assists, deflections, and steals. Her ability to impact the game on both ends is uncanny. Very underrated kid.

When the lights are bright, who can show up every game and compete with the best of them? Addi Gamble Addi Gamble 5'6" | SG Clinton | 2026 State TN proved this weekend that she can compete with the best of them! I watched numerous games, and Addi competed with a high motor in every game! I loved when she got the steal against FBC United and drilled in a beautiful 3 ball! Despite the losses to extremely tough teams, Addi did her job! When I read that she led her team in rebounds, assists, and steals, I was not surprised. This is a testament to her non-stop motor, leadership, and competitive nature!

Just a great effort kid. Wants to guard and takes great pride in it. Never forced the issue offensively, and simply took what the defense gave her. High IQ. Instinctually knows the gaps to hit off the dribble, and can do it with either hand. Pretty shooting stroke. Attacked bad closeouts of the dribble. Ran the point some as had no trouble handling the press.

This young lady is a FIERCE competitor with a will to win that is contagious. She is a quietrnleader who leads by example with her unmatched work ethic and toughness. Addi was named 2 ndrnTeam All District as a Sophomore and named to the District All-Tournament Team. She is anrnelite level defender who is fast and very strong physically. She can get to the rim, score in thernmid-range and hit the 3. She is a two-sport athlete that was All District in both basketball andrnsoftball at Clinton HS. This girl is all about WINNING and will do whatever it takes to makernthat happen. She makes any team she is on better. She is just a winner!
