Each of these players are having a special year on the court. Despite their youth, they are contributing in huge ways for their team.    Phillips can score in bunches for her squad. She is able to convert in the open court with speed. She can also get in the paint and score through contact and earn a trip to the foul line. Phillips has a smooth shot that goes in for her team. She has deep three-point range and the ability to create space for her outside shot. Phillips is also an aggressive defender who creates steals and easy scoring opportunities for her team throughout any game.     Lutz is an excellent point guard with maturity far beyond her years. She has a great feel for the game and makes everyone around her better for Cary Academy. Lutz is able to change a game with her pass making ability, her versatile scoring, her pressure defense, or her effort on the glass. In any game, Lutz will provide several extra possessions because of her aggressiveness on the offensive glass. Lutz is a strong player who is getting better and better on the court.     Dehring does it all for St. Thomas More Academy. She is able to score in transition or the offense, she can rebound with bigger players in the paint, and she is an outstanding defender. Each contest, Dehring is able to force nearly 5 steals for her squad. She currently leads her team in points per game, rebounds per game, steals per game, and is second in assists per game. Dehring is a competitive player who gives all she has when she is on the court.     Smith is a special athlete. She can score quickly in the paint, from an offensive putback, or from the foul line. Smith can dominate any game in a variety of different ways. She is a strong offensive player, she defends and anticipates well, and she is a beast on the glass. Additionally, she is a terrific rebounder who attacks every rebound that comes off the rim for Carolina Day. Smith is currently averging a double-double. She is an outstanding player with immense potential on the basketball court.     Kinsey is a team player who makes great decisions for her team when the basketball is in her hands. She handles the ball well and has a quick first step to get past the defense. Kinsey has the ability to score in the paint or dish a perfect pass to an open teammate on the perimeter. She is also an elite defender. Each game, Kinsey pressures the ball handler into multiple turnovers because of her aggressiveness and urgency on defense.
