As a leader, she consistently steps up in key moments, handling the ball with confidence and setting the pace for the offense. She is the leading scorer, is capable of finishing both inside and beyond the arc, while also leading the team in steals, field goal percentage, and points. Additionally, she ranks second in rebounds and assists, showcasing her well-rounded skill set. Beyond the stats, Amree brings invaluable qualities to the team: Leadership, drive, and an unwavering determination to succeed. Her deep knowledge of the game, relentless work ethic, and positive attitude inspire her teammates, making her a key force in the success. No matter the situation, she remains composed and focused, carrying much of the team's weight on her shoulders. With Amree on the court, the Thunder have a leader who not only excels in performance but also elevates those around her.

[player_tooltip player_id='1048119' first='Ashlynn' last='Vavruska'] (2028) |5'2 G| Florence-Henry

She has a good head on her shoulders and makes girls around her better. Ashlynn does an impressive job of creating her own scoring opportunities, especially for just being a 9th grader. Expect that to keep improving as time goes on. Vavruska is a great spark for the Falcons when they need a score. Ashlynn is also a great teammate.

Brynn Roehrich (2027) |6'0 C| Clark-Willow Lake

Brynn has really improved her inside game and that has opened up a lot of scoring possibilities for the Cyclones. You can't teach height and Roehrich has it! She changes the game with her length. Brynn protects the rim while changing/altering and blocking shots with anticipation and excellent timing. She is productive on the glass and is productive with putback points. Roehrich is no stranger to a Double-Double.

Cera Schmitz (2026) |5'5 G| Elk Point-Jefferson

She is a playmaker for the 11-2 Huskies. Cera does a good job initiating the offense, moving the basketball for her teammates, and has a great ability to score the basketball. She is a scorer and a creator. Cera is a point guard that looks to pass and move the ball first. She can get on a scoring streak at any time during the game. Cera enjoys playing the game with her teammates and she is a winner.

Ella Batie (2026) |5'11 F| North Central

Ella Batie is an important player for the Thunder. She is 5'11 and the tallest player on the squad, she makes an impact on both offense and on defense in the paint. Batie has had some big games scoring in the paint, he height helps her score buckets around the hoop. On defense, she stops opponents from scoring by blocking shots and grabbing rebounds. Ella's ability to defend against other tall players helps a ton. Her scoring makes the Thunder offense stronger. Her determination is a key to the team's success. North Central is more competitive due to Ella's presence in the paint.

Jordyn Rossow (2026) |6'2 C| Herreid-Selby Area

Rossow's size and length make her a game-changer & playmaker. She is a hardworking and passionate leader. She is a solid defender, the Wolverines are a better team with Rossow on the court. Jordyn is an active and productive interior player.

[player_tooltip player_id='613978' first='Katelyn' last='Schroeder'] (2025) |6'0 G/F| Hitchcock-Tulare

She is a playmaker for the Patriots. Katelyn averages 13 points a game and 7.5 rebounds a game. She is an all-around player. Schroeder posts up under the hoop, drives, and can also shoot the three with accuracy. Katelyn leads by example and works hard. When the game is on the line, she steps up to make something happen. Schroeder is the team captain and has scored over 1,000 points in her career! She has a positive attitude and is very coachable.

[player_tooltip player_id='935877' first='Kamryn' last='Nesheim'] (2028) |5'7 G| Clark-Willow Lake

Kamryn is a skilled and smart point guard who does not turn the ball over. She values the rock and she creates shots for others. Nesheim breaks the press, handles pressure, controls the tempo, and gets the Cyclone organized on offense. Kamryn is an affluent passer. She is a sneaky defender who creates turnovers. Nesheim is also a big-time 3-point shooting threat with extended range, she can fill it up in a hurry.

Katie Allbee (2027) |5'5 G| Herreid-Selby Area

She is a talented backcourt player who shoots the ball well. Katie is a creative scorer and also does a good job on the defensive side of the ball. She is a valuable player who you want on the floor. She brings leadership, hard work, and passion to the Wolverines. Allbee is a nice athlete and she can change the game from beyond the 3-point arc. It is easy to see that Kaite is a playmaker.

Matte Bauman (2026) |5'6 G| Deubrook

She is the PG for the 12-3 Dolphins. Matte has a great feel for the game and is very good at drawing defenders in order to open up a teammate. She loves to distribute the ball. Bauman is currently averaging 4 assists per game. Along with her ability to set up her teammates, Matte has the ability to get to the basket and has started to become a 3-point threat as well. She is averaging 14 pts/game.

Tehya Vig (2025) |5'7 G| Clark-Willow Lake

Tehya is a strong senior leader. Vig anticpates well and she is a thief on defense. She creates a high amount of turnovers. Tehya can also cash in from 3-point land. She can score in a number of ways and provides the strength that the young Cyclones need.

[player_tooltip player_id='613976' first='Thomiah' last='Poor Bear'] (2025) |5'10 F| Bennett County

The Warriors are having a fantastic season with a 10-2 record and Thomiah is standing out as a playmaker. She can play both inside and out and is productive in both areas. Thomiah has great court vision for being a forward. Her ability to attack the rim and dish the ball is next level. She is a threat not only as a scorer but as a playmaker. Thomiah can put up points from all levels, she lets it fly with a soft and accurate shot. This Warrior is a mismatch problem and a playmaker.

[player_tooltip player_id='839073' first='Addison' last='Heinje'] (2027) |5'11 G| & Mya Heinje (2025) |5'6 G| Wilmot

These two bring a spark, energy, and the juice to the Wolves. Addison and Mya work well together on top of the press where they create turnovers and scoring opportunities for each other and their teammates. Addison leads the team in scoring, rebounds, and steals with Mya close behind in steals and assists. Mya is a senior, her defense and leadership on the court will be greatly missed next year.

[player_tooltip player_id='417229' first='Brittany' last='Jones'] (2025) |5'6 G| & [player_tooltip player_id='678426' first='Halle' last='Peterson'] (2026) |5'9 G/F| & [player_tooltip player_id='375381' first='Hayden' last='Thorton'] (2026) |5'9 G| Rapid City Stevens

Jones and Peterson are starters and Thorton thrives off the bench, all three girls are having an excellent season for the 10-2 Raiders. These three ballers qualify as playmakers because they do a great job of driving into the paint and are willing passers who will set up their teammates for a great shot. They are willing to sacrifice a good shot to get their teammates a great shot, which makes them all special playmakers for the Raiders.
