Heading into the weekend, I'd like to highlight a few standouts so far this season. The Pirate wing has shot the ball better from the perimeter and has been more clinical finishing around the rim. She's got an excellent motor and has been a double-double type of player every night. She's from a more remote area of the state, but she's been a standout in her first season and a half in the Ridge and Valley.

The Sun Prairie West senior is having a career year to close out her high school career. The 5'9 guard scores over 20 per game and is the most efficient version of herself. The confidence has always been there, but she's been excellent offensively in the first half of her senior season. It's a small sample size of numbers posted for her, but even on her tape, she looks more comfortable. For small schools still looking for 2025s, Jackson is worth looking at this season.

Few kids can handle being extremely high-usage players and help their team win games, but that's what Grant does. The Brown Deer guard is among the state leaders in scoring and plays in one of the more competitive conferences in the state in the Woodland-West. Her ability to create at her size and consistently find good looks is unbelievable. I'm unsure what she has going recruitment-wise, but she could be a steal at the scholarship level. Not many kids are as creative with the ball in their hands as Grant is, and that's saying something.

The Lomira has been more comfortable at the varsity level in the Flyway than I would've expected. Christian is getting to the free-throw line at will. As of writing this, she's getting to the line about six times per game and making 90% of her free throws. That means that even when her shots aren't falling, she's still putting pressure on the rim, which allows her to remain a constant threat on the offensive end when she's on the floor. It's also helped that Christian has been among the top rebounding guards even as a 14-year-old. She's been among the most impactful newcomers at the varsity level.
