Right now, a lot of the conversations are revolved around a look into the postseason and how that's starting to shape, however this is something different here. This is a quick glance towards the future talent in the region. Alot of the times its tough assessing the younger players with their projections right in the thick of the school season. Some get reduced minutes as the lineups get tighter and coaches give them a much shorter leash. Thats the bright side of spring basketball though; AAU gives a multitude of underclassmen the opportunity the capitalize on another form of high-level basketball. It takes a focused eye to survey the land and forecast accurate recruiting info, but these 5 girls below make it a much easier task due their faculties. These young ladies are slated for big recruitment years, whether that's receiving interest from scholarship level schools or getting those aspired offers.

The 3-level scoring capabilities DeJesus possesses are quite astounding. She's confident with the ball in her hands and exercises good judgment skills on the fly, opting for the best option even in high leverage moments. Saige's game rises to the occasion; she isn't afraid of the spotlight. The self-assuredness is an essential quality that gives credence at the most crucial of moments. Saige can be relied upon to not only do her job at a high level, but she usually exceeds expectations and has the propensity to even the playing field no matter who she's up against. Even as a freshman, rarely is there a large disparity in the talent gap when it comes to the individual matchup. The potential is oozing out of Saige's game. There's been some games this season that've been notable. She recently had a 28 point, near triple-double performance that was thoroughly striking. Running with a talented New England Storm team this spring, DeJesus will have raise a bunch of eyebrows.

What's there not to rave about Early? She's looking more polished than ever and has been looking fantastic all season long. Her performances recently suggest a dynamic wing player that has irreplaceable value. Early is playing with a few top tier players in their respective positions and she can sometimes serve as a glue piece, but in reality, the skill level says she's no different than those blue-chip players herself. Maeve can be inserted into just about any lineup due to her adaptable qualities. Not only is she aggressive with the ball in her hand, but she's just as effective cutting and diving after setting screens, just waiting for the right time to get a bucket behind the defense. Patience is something many players develop later on; however, Maeve seems to have that down pat. The defense she demonstrates herself must be spoken for as well. The athleticism really shines on this end of the floor. She has long strides that can catch up with just about anywhere in the open floor and she can switch on to multiple positions. She isn't afraid to go toe-to-toe and slow down the first rated scorers she regularly faces. Schools will be salivating for a wing talent like Early. She'll have serious offers in a short time.

Jennifer is an enticing guard prospect with a skillset that's already advanced for the position. She brings a lot of intensity and brings an overwhelming potency when she's on the floor. Xue knows how to play the game the right way. She understands the power of getting the ball out her hands, knowing she'll get it back quickly after relocating to the open areas of the floor. Jennifer's energy is exerted especially in transition because of how she runs the lanes fast and wide. Defenders must make a decision quick and determine when to pick her up before it's too late. She's such a knockdown shooter, shooting in transition can be just as effective as a layup at times. Speaking of finishing at the rim though, Xue has a lot of elusive moves that allow her to get a mix of angles off the backboard.

Just recently Xue detonated for 28 points. What was notable was how electric she was in this game. There were many times Xue let shots fly from deep range and every time she connected it injected another level of life into the team. The exhilarating play is a staple of Jennifer's game. Shooting Touch has yet another bubbling star that'll alert many in short time.

Basketball runs deep in the Abelard family and Anjolie is another member with the gifted gene. This year for Milton Academy, Anjolie has served as a defensive monster that's had lockdown perimeter protection. She guards opposing team's better offensive players pretty much every game. Abelard is sent to hound those prime ballhandlers, facilitators and top scorers. When she's guarding any of these players, they're in for a difficult day. Never is there a possession where Anjolie is giving lackluster effort. She's a player that's sacrificed offensive production by giving up her body face-guarding, fighting through screens and hustling to loose-balls for ultimate team success. What's special about this versatile wing is she's just as noteworthy on offense. This spring, she'll get a chance to showcase those dependable rated skills in both high paced transition and within halfcourt developed sets too. Anjolie will get the opportunity to refute the misconception of her game. Rest assured that Abelard is a complete player; she's exactly what many schools are looking for at the next level to fill their needs.

Jules has been mentioned a ton in the past few months, but that's warranted, especially with the performance she just pulled off last night. Stevenson broke Phillips Andover's 3-point record. The barrage of 7 longballs in a singular game is quite the milestone. Her teammates had the utmost trust in her shot-making ability because she's shown many times this isn't just a fluke. Frequently this season, Jules has exploded for big numbers, but this time was special. She passed teammate [player_tooltip player_id='1041823' first='Cuyler' last='Sparks']' previously held record. The sniper-like act was deflating for many of the St. Paul's defenders. This performance is just one of the latest of great games from the fantastic freshman. When Stevenson plays this way, it's exciting to see what's next for her. Jules is already playing at a very high-level, so what's the next gear for her? She's over exceeding any expectations that she came into the year with and schools will soon take notice of this exceptional guard talent.
