Mooney fits right in with the fire power at Air Academy. She uses her height well to slash through the paint to her scoring opportunities on the blocks and high post. Mooney is very good from both areas on the floor. She isnt afraid to battle inside to earn free throws or grab rebounds. As a freshman, her mid-randge game is consistent, she can even step behind the arch for a 3pt when open. She is getting great in-game experience with some of the state's best players. On defense, Grace is tough. She owns her postioning well on bigger posts players and is always stalking for defensive boards. She has quick feet and hands and can apply pressure in full and half court to help get turnovers for the Kadets. Mooney will be one to watch as she takes the floor as a freshman during Air Academy's playoff run.

As just a sophomore, Young leads the Tigers in scoring. The 6'0" center is a force in the paint, her long frame makes her an excellent target for her teammates. She has very nice footwork to keep her agile in the paint, but she is strong enough to get tough buckets and get to the free throw line. Young has an eye for the ball when it comes to rebounds, she leads her team in that stat too. Look for her to battle on the boards against the other bigs in thier first round matchup. On defense, Harper uses all of her height to her advantage. She smothers smaller players if they try to come into the paint. Young has good strength to keep the offense uncomfortable on the block. Look for Harper to continue to lead Grand Junction as they push through the playoffs.

John averaged over 2 steals in almost every game this season. She is a machine on defense. With quick feet and hands, she is all over dribblers, closing traps and generally causing chaos on the defensive end. She is sneaky through the paint and in help side as well, grabbing steals and even a couple rebounds from bigger post players. Offensively, Raegan contributes well for Canon City. She uses her quickness to get passed defenders where she can hit from mid-range, behind the arch and even get all the way to the bucket for her points. The Tigers will need all of Raegan's contributions as they go into the first round.

As the second leading scorer for Greeley Central, Davis can get points from all spots on the floor. She is fast with good handles and can get to the basket for layups. Her strength also gets her to the free throw line and earns her a few offensive rebounds every game. She can shoot from both the mid-randge and behind the 3pt line, the Wildcats will need her fire power in their first round game. On defense, Aaniya uses her quickness in the full court to cause turnovers for the Wildcats. And in the half court, she pressures dribblers and shooters all over the floor. She is definitely not afraid to battle in the paint for steals and boards. Davis will continue to be a crucial player for Greeley Central as they battle in the playoffs.

Oberg is the junior leading scorer for Montrose. She helped the team to their first round game with her consistent scoring and tough defense. At 5'10", she has a great form for the SF position. She has the power behind her dribbles to get around the defense and to the bucket, most of her points come from the mid-range, high post and in the paint. She can hit from anywhere in the paint and inside the arch, but dont be surprised in Oberg steps behind the 3pt line when open. Mayce will need her aggressive defense in the paint as the Red Hawks matcup on Saturday. She uses her long arms to plug up the paint from cutters and smaller guards. Mayce also has the strength to battle with taller post players for position on the block or for defensive boards. Oberg will continue to be the one to watch for Montrose throughout the post season.

A shooting guard for Discovery Canyon, McComb is consistency on the court. This sophomore does it all quietly for the Thunder. She has the handles to get the ball up the floor and into offensive sets. Dillan also handles pressure well in the half court to get the ball to her teammates for scoring opportunities, or to find her own points. She can get to the basket and finish, but also hit from the mid-range to keep away from the bigger post players in the paint. Look from McComb to catch and hit from behind the arch as well for Discovery Canyon. Defensively, Dillan is not so quiet. She is all over ball handlers and shooters alike, giving them no room. Her aggressiveness causes the turnovers that the Thunder will need in the playoffs. She is havoc in the paint as well for bigger post players, she will get her hands on the ball for steals or rebounds when they are not paying attention. McComb will be a crucial piece to the Thunder making a deep playoff run.
