The freshman was a great extension on the perimeter that added a lot of value in this game. She moved well without the ball in her hands. Keel also found the open areas for teammates to hit her in ideal situations. Steph was on target from distance and was able to knock down multiple 3-pointers which gave Rivers a great lift.

Joy Robinson (2028) | 5'7 SG | Rivers

Joy has been providing dependable play for Rivers all season long and this game was no different for the freshman wing. She played solid defense that resulted in a couple of steals; these contributed to quick transition points early on in the game. Robinson also exhibited her long-range shooting ability by knocking down a fluent 3 off an inbound possession. With Joy starting to hit her shots consistently, she's a scary prospect in '28.

Sabina led the charge as far as hustle for BB&N. She ran to the loose balls and labored through the tough couple of quarters with a positive attitude. Her perseverance gave her teammates hope as she was doing the grunt work grabbing boards and attempting to slow down some noteworthy talent at Rivers.

Natalia played with an excellent tempo and found herself having a successful day with her rousing 2-way play. She stood out with her poised, yet confident decision making, no matter if the ball was in her hand or not. The efficiency in her minutes was also noticeable. Hall-Rosa didn't attempt a bunch of shots, but knocked down the ones she did take. The steadfast stroke from distance looked splendid and was she was connecting in flux.

Thanks in large part to Chase's impactful contributions, especially on the defensive end, Rivers was able to get out to that early lead. Anderson kept her foot on the neck of the opponents and made it hard for them to function. The team fed off her foundational play in the post. She deterred a lot of lane penetrators by meeting guards at the lane lines. Anderson had a couple of blocks in the first half that deflated offensive players.
