She does a great job leading the break and finding open teammates for easy scoring opportunities. Defensively, she creates disruption by jumping passing lanes and forcing turnovers. She also hustles hard on the offensive glass, turning loose balls into second-chance points. Off the ball, she makes smart backdoor cuts and can knock down spot-up threes from the perimeter.

Steph plays the passing lanes well on defense, creating steals that turn into fast-break scoring opportunities. She definitely lives up to the “shooting” part of shooting guard, showing a no-hesitation trigger from beyond the three-point line. With quick and shifty dribble moves, Steph can blow right by defenders, and her strong off-ball movement allows her to grab offensive rebounds and set herself up for more scoring chances.

The freshman was a great extension on the perimeter that added a lot of value in this game. She moved well without the ball in her hands. Keel also found the open areas for teammates to hit her in ideal situations. Steph was on target from distance and was able to knock down multiple 3-pointers which gave Rivers a great lift.
