[player_tooltip player_id='777568' first='Soledad' last='Peralta'] is Mercy High School's #1 option when it comes to offense and scoring the basketball. Peralta, a 5'6 SG, produces from all three offense levels, while being someone that can hold her own on the defensive side as well. This Mercy High School team is only 10-11 on their year but they are interesting because of how many players they have, who can produce. If you look at their team stats for the Winter, they have a different leader at each positive statistical category, just demonstrating how each player produces. They will have a tough task on their hands with Nebraska City this evening but they do possess all the weapons to come out with a victory in the end if they play their cards correctly.

Whenever you have a Top Five players competing out of any Class, it's usually a good game to watch if you have the time. I expect [player_tooltip player_id='305776' first='Addison' last='Sullivan'] of Blair High School to put together a contest against Elkhorn on Friday Night. Sullivan comes in as a 6'0 CG with a lot of versatility, skill, and knowledge of the game. Sullivan is used to playing with high end athletes throughout the year, all around the Country. This is what helps sharpen her skills and really has helped her work on her weaknesses over the years. With that being said, Sullivan should do very well in this battle. It won't be easy but I would expect that Blair would come out on top if this one plays to her full capabilities.

The conversation for whom will be the #1 prospect out of the 2028 Class is currently taking place behind the scenes and [player_tooltip player_id='884234' first='Da'Nyla' last='Tatum'] has a great argument for being that #1 player. Tatum is not only extremely skilled, she also understands how to lead a team by example with her playmaking ability. She is a player that consistently has shown up this season and she has proven that her ability is as good, if not better than most she has matched up against. The Thunderbirds are going to have the task of playing Fremont tonight and I would assume that Tatum should put together a game to remember. If everyone takes care of their responsibilities, everything should go to plan.

Plattsmouth High School is currently sitting with a 14-7 record as they look to make that 15-7 following their contest on Friday against Standing Bear High School. Plattsmouth is lead by Senior PG, [player_tooltip player_id='1198555' first='Averi' last='Winters']. Winters falls into the category of a PG that is looked to score the basketball at a thorough rate. She is her team's leader in PPG with 13.5 and she also is her team's leader in SPG with 3.5. These numbers demonstrates that Winters can do a little bit of everything. If you end up watching this team on tape, you can tell that everyone looks up to Winters. She is truly someone that leads by example with her actions. That can sometimes be rare at the high school level.

South Sioux City might not of had the high school season they would have imagined at the beginning of the year but that doesn't mean that they can't end things on a positive note. The Cardinals sit with a 8-13 record as they take on Buena Vista (3-18) tonight at home. Someone that has been a main player for the Cards over her career is SG, [player_tooltip player_id='890842' first='Bailee' last='Durant']. Durant is looked upon to make open jumpers, as well as rebounding and playing sound defense. If this team wants to win more games over these next few weeks, Durant will need to trust in her prior work. She always has seemed like someone that is dedicated to getting better in her off-seasons and hopefully that comes to the surface in this battle.
