We are now in full postseason action mode for everyone across the state. DII-A is a little ahead of everyone, but today everyone is officially in the tournament. This is one of the most exciting times of the year as everything means more (Thanks SEC for that saying). That saying does ring true. During this time of year, it's all about the will and the want, the effort, doing the little things right, and don't overlook the fundamental things. Things such as boxing out, being disciplined in all assignments, sprinting to help, stepping to passes, and winning the 50/50 balls. An extra possession or two could make all the difference.

As we step into more coverage of tournament coverage, here are some young ladies who have seen have contributed thus far in postseason play.

On Saturday night, the Miss Tennessee finalist led the Ladies Warriors to victory draining 22 points and grabbing seven boards. The win over Grace Christian (Knoxville) was awesome and helped propel CAK to a higher seed in the tournament. MB is the real deal and the more she plays, the better she gets. She was hot from multiple spots from the field as GCA tried to slow her down. Look for her to continue to scorch the nets and keep this Lady Warriors train rolling.

A star in the making, EJ's confidence is riding high. A three-level scoring threat who has more shiftiness than a shake-weight. She can fill it up and doing so ignites confidence in those around her. She is a dynamic guard who can play with the best of them. When she is on she's hard to stop. Look for her to continue to stack performances as FRA advances to the next round of play.

She was hot from the arc as she drained 5 threes as her squad won the District 10-2A game. This was the first tournament win in school history as this school just opened this year in Spring Hill, TN. Her performance and the win will go a long way as they look to contend in district play and stay hot during the postseason. Her confidence is up and she looks to carry that same performance into the next contest.

Cool, calm, and collective. As I mentioned to you all before, this young lady may not get all the publicity, but she just excels at doing her job. She's a shooter who knows when to pick her poison. Last night against Ezell-Hardining, she helped her fellow Lady Panthers knock off one of the hottest teams in the state. Ella had 14 points and hit some clutch shots when her squad needed a bucket. She's a marksman from the arc, so it is a must to get a hand up. Look for her to carry that energy into regional play as the Lady Panthers of FRA look to make even more noise.

Though her team came up short, BP dropped 16 points in her team's effort. This kid had a great year that helped the Lady Eagles of Ezell-Harding eclipse new heights. A 3-level scoring threat who gets after it not only on the offensive end but the defensive end as well. A downhill threat who is physical, when she has the ball in her hands, she won't be denied going to the basket. Hungry ball player who will take this feeling and grind away in the offseason to make sure the results will be different next year.
