[player_tooltip player_id='842633' first='Aubrey' last='Metzger'] of Central Lyon High School has been a vital piece to her team's success throughout her high school career and now she is ready to take that to the next level with her commitment to Northwestern CC (IA). Metzger stands at 6'2, dominating with her size at a consistent rate. Usually team's don't have anyone that can match this size, giving Central Lyon a huge advantage in the grand scheme of things. Metzger has the build, motor, and coordination to make an impact in college. She just needs to be put in a position to create success and the rest should be history.

Underrated and undervalued. Those are the two words that I would use to describe [player_tooltip player_id='1192863' first='Olivia' last='Bailey'] and her time at Des Moines Roosevelt. Within a program that has great support and a nice roster, Bailey stands out as one of the best. She also possesses one of the highest ceilings looking toward the future when you really break down her ability. This is someone that has great size at 6'2, she has lengthy arms with a long reach, and she is quick on her feet in all facets on the phrase. I have a feeling that Bailey might turn into a monster with her years at Kirkwood. That's a championship program, that understands how to win and develop its prospects. As long as she locks in mentally once on campus, who knows how far she will take things.

Fit is everything when you are talking about playing after the high school level. If you don't fit into what the program is about, you'll either never play. Which isn't great so that's why you'll hear me say to make sure your fit within a program is there first. If not, it'll be tough. [player_tooltip player_id='777585' first='Jade' last='Lewis'] of Millard West committed two weeks ago to Iowa Western CC. She made this choice because it was closer to home, she felt a connection with the staff, and she enjoyed the campus. I know for a fact that she had several different suitors at the next level from all across the Country. So that just details how she felt about this situation at Iowa Western, prior to making her commitment.

I don't want to say that it's a shame that [player_tooltip player_id='592198' first='Dreya' last='Kern'] committed to play Division-1 soccer but I would of loved to see her on the hardwood, dribbling a basketball at the collegiate level. Nevertheless, this is a prospects at the guard position with skill, a smart head on her shoulders, and a ton of heart. She has really been the motor for her Linn-Mar program this Winter and sometimes that can take on toll on you as a player but not for Kern. She has demonstrated what it means to be all in and I'm excited to see how that translates to the soccer pitch with the Jackrabbits. She seems to have a never ending motor so I'm sure she will be someone we hear about early on in her collegiate career.

An unsung hero for Solon, that has been a constant the past 4 seasons is CG, [player_tooltip player_id='1143208' first='Kobi' last='Lietz']. Lietz recently committed this past month to Kirkwood CC out of Cedar Rapids. Like I said above with Bailey, this roster and program understand how to grow their players so I think that Lietz is only going to become better with this experience. She is going to be practicing against other future D1 prospects on a nightly basis and that should help evolve her game to a new level. As for her career as a Solon Spartan, I'm sure that Lietz is going to be remembered for a long time by her community.
