S.E. Winter Series: 2029 Shooting Guards/Wings

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>High School basketball is moving closer to the state tournament, which means the 2025 travel circuit season is right around the corner. While everyone (including myself) has fixated on high school hoops, some of Michigan's top 8th-grade prospects have competed in travel circuit tournaments for months. Word traveled that Select Events was hosting a tournament at Morey Courts in Mount Pleasant on Saturday, which was too perfect an opportunity to pass up. UTS, Michigan Storm Elite, MBA, and Mystics were all in the house with several of Michigan's future top prospects competing on the court. Katerina finished a layup in transition, swiped the ball away to score another layup, and converted a floater with soft touch in the paint. She buried a smooth wing 3 with sound mechanics and a high follow through. Katerina kept her eyes up in transition and made the extra pass for assists. She found her hot spot in the corner and drained four triples in the second half of a game. Taylor worked hard to secure offensive rebounds and knocked down two free throws from the charity stripe. She knocked down a confident corner 3, scored a layup after cutting to the basket, and converted a strong offensive rebound and-one. Braelyn battled to secure multiple offensive boards and finished well off two feet. Her length, burst off the dribble, perimeter shooting, and passing proficiency makes her capable of playing positions 1-4. Isabella drilled a corner 3, blocked shots, and scored offensive rebound putbacks. She knocked down a smooth step-back corner jumper, set up teammates with crisp one-handed passes, pushed the ball in transition, and worked hard to secure for offensive rebounds.
