Rytlewski is a long, athletic small forward that makes her presence felt with aggressive work on the boards and constant defensive disruption. She used her length effectively, jumping into passing lanes and making it difficult for opponents to initiate their offense. On both ends of the floor, she crashes the glass with purpose, creating extra possessions and limiting second chances. Also did a great job attacking the hoop to finish strong off of two feet.

Braelyn’s aggressive and physical presence gave Team 6 an edge at the Freshman Showcase. She pushed the ball quickly up the court in transition, drove downhill with a full head of steam, and earned a trip to the free-throw line. Braelyn showed her ability to beat defenders off the dribble with a swift baseline drive that ended with a tough, contested finish off two feet. She muscled her way into a good rebounding position and secured the ball with strong hands. Braelyn has the toughness and skills needed to be an immediate difference maker as a freshman–she’s going to have a big season for Freeland this winter.

Braelyn is a high-motor player who brings energy and effort to every part of the game. She moves with purpose off the ball, finishes well around the rim, and isn’t afraid to absorb contact. On defense, she’s active and disruptive, creating turnovers and competing on the glass with grit. With her ability to knock down shots from the perimeter and make hustle plays, Braelyn is definitely someone we’d love to see at the PGH Freshman Showcase.
