Tennessee February Frenzy: Thrilling Opening Round Recap

Today's matchups have the Clarksville Christian Lady Centurions take on the Clarkrange Lady Buffaloes and the second game of the night will feature the Stewart Co. Lady Rebels vs. Cannon Co. Lady Lions.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I am your host Brandon Tinnon, live courtside on the McLendon Court here at the Gentry to kick off what should be a sensational opening night here in Nashville. These two matchups will be a good test for all as these prospective schools have been getting done this year. She will be a tough matchup for the Lady Buffaloes as she can impact the game on both ends of the floor.  Her size poses as an advantage, but the many ways she can impact the game are crazy. She can score it from all 3 levels and shut down the opposition on the defensive end by getting deflections, steals, and blocks. Add in her ability to own the boards, this kid is as solid as they come. She is a Team USA invitee and has tons of schools wanting her commitment from the Power 4 level. She is awesome from block to block, displaying finishing moves as the muscles through the opposition. Can also be utilized in the high post area and the screen game, this young lady is a force on the offensive end. She is a solid forward who can stretch the floor as well as play with her back to the basket down low. She brings passion and energy into the fold and her teammates thrive from it. She's a dual sport athlete who brings her speed and tremendous work ethic into each contest. She is active on both ends of the floor. She has active hands and feet that she displays on the defensive end, which enables her to get tips and steals. She has a high basketball IQ where she makes the right plays and reads especially on the offensive end. She doesn't force the issue, but delivers passes on time, comes up clutch from the field when it's her time to score, and will be a nuisance on the defensive end. She has stepped up for the Lady Lions this year both in scoring and in leadership. Each flip will be documented and marked. If the flips end in a tie after four times, there will be a 5th flip that represents overtime. These teams were neck and neck as they competed throughout the game. The Lady Lions were fierce as they gave SCHS fits and capitalized off turnovers. CC was rolling on offense as it seemed they couldn't miss.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Tomorrow the Lady Lions of Cannon Co. look to take on the Lady Centurions of Clarksville Christian in a match-up that will see the winner get invited to February Frenzy's big dance.
