She is a solid forward who can stretch the floor as well as play with her back to the basket down low. She brings passion and energy into the fold and her teammates thrive from it. She’s a dual sport athlete who brings her speed and tremendous work ethic into each contest. Solid ball player who has helped set the standard of what Clarkrange Lady Buffaloes should be.

just looks like she should be a basketball player. 5’11 with length. Strong lower body. Super athletic build. She’s got all the tools to be an excellent wing at the collegiate level. Her skill set is growing, and as she becomes more pure in her ability to shoot the 3 and make plays off the bounce, college coaches will begin taking more and more notice during her senior year.

Hopkins is a next level athlete! Yes, she has another year of high school but she will be at the next level! She makes college ready plays! Kady cuts hard to the basket and moves extremely well without the ball in her hands. She is a good outside shooter and she has a great toughness that can’t be taught! I’ve heard it numerous times now, that if you were in a fight, you want Kady on your side! The best quote that comes to mind is by Kobe Bryant, “If you see me in a fight with a bear, pray for the bear.” Hopkins is not going to back down from a challenge on the court, and she continues to play exceptionally well! If college coaches don’t have this ’25 on their radar, I don’t know what they are waiting on!

“Hop” was on our list of “preseason breakout performers” after watching her this summer, and talking to her coaches. Everyone around her felt like she was primed for a breakout season…and she’s blow even the biggest predictions out of the water. In a huge district win over Clay County, Hopkins went off for 23 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals. She’s a game game changing defender with high-level athleticism. As she continues to learn to be a consistent scorer, her upside as a collegiate prospect is off the charts. For today, she’s settle for a big district win over Clay.

Hopkins is the perfect example of a versatile wing. One of the most athletically gifted kids in her class, she’s already a switchable defender that can lock up your best player, block shots, and rebound like a high level post. She’s a menace on the offense glass with her mixture of motor and athleticism, and when she catches in the paint, she’s a bucket.
Her perimeter skills have come remarkably far over the last year or so, and she’s primed for a breakout. She’s beginning to get comfortable attacking off the bounce, and making plays facing the rim. She’s worked on her outside shot a ton, and once she begins consistently taking and making 3’s, her potential as a do-it-all wing is off the charts.

A super athletic kid that can play most any position. One of the most athletically gifted kids in the area. Uses her athleticism to be a lockdown defender capable of taking away the other team’s best option. Runs the floor incredibly well, excellent at getting to the rim and agile enough to finish around while strong enough to finish through; and is a menace on the offensive glass. Uber athletic….if her skills catch up to her athleticism she’s perhaps a top tier kid in the state. Another player primed for a breakout.
