I am a firm believer in keeping your best athletes home! In my opinion, we let our best athlete, regardless of class leave the state of Tennessee! Who am I talking about? The one and only, [player_tooltip player_id='408995' first='Reese' last='Beaty']!

First, let's look at a few stats from Reese throughout her high school career. This year, she is averaging 29 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 4 assists per game! Reese is shooting over 70% from the field and over 40% from three! I don't know many athletes across the country that produce stats like those. For her career, she has surpassed 1,600 points and added over 500 rebounds and 500 assists. She continues to prove how "goated" she is on a nightly basis.

Next, let's look at a few awards that Reese has achieved: She led her team to states! She made the all state tournament team. Reese has won numerous MVP's, including, district MVP. She was a 2023 Miss Basketball Finalist. Outside of basketball, she holds a 4.3 GPA. She also scored a whopping 29 on her ACT! She is the athlete that every single coach should want!

Last, Coach K said it best, "In Leadership, there are no words more important than trust." You can trust Reese in the classroom. You can trust Reese on the court. Throughout her high school career, her coaches have trusted her and her teammates have trusted her. Beaty is a special athlete that makes everyone around her better. I have loved watching this athlete on the court. She makes things happen that you can't really put into words.

Iowa State picked up a STAR! I am excited to watch Beaty at the next level. She will make a huge impact for the Cyclones. I can't predict the future, but I have a strong feeling that she will play a major role in helping Iowa State win their first national championship!
