<p>With the state tournaments looming and teams securing their spots for a chance to win a state title, I took a look into each district within each class to see who's headed to the state tournaments. Here is District 2's 1A tournament which consists of the Emerald Sound Conference and then a crossover with District 1 for 2 more spots at the state tournament.</p>

<p>For the play-in games, 7th seed South Whidbey defeated 10th seed Overlake, 35-32. Overlake's season would end. 9th seed University Prep upset 8th seed Northwest, 45-26 to advance on and have Northwest's season end. </p>

<p>Now the bracket turns into double elimination. 1 seed Kings defeated 9th seed University Prep with ease, 57-7. University Prep would advance to the loser out section of the bracket. 2nd seed Cedar Park Christian defeated 7th seed South Whidbey, 60-21. South Whidbey would advance to the loser out section of the bracket. 3rd seed Bush defeated 6th seed Eastside Prep, 51-22. Eastside Prep would advance to the loser out section of the bracket. 4th seed Bear Creek defeated 5th seed Granite Falls, 39-32. Granite Falls would advance to the loser out section of the bracket.</p>

<p>In the semi-final part of the bracket, 1 seed Kings played 4th seed Bear Creek. Kings would win, 66-23. Bear Creek would advance to the loser out section of the bracket. 2nd seed Cedar Park Christian would play 3rd seed Bush. Cedar Park Christian would win, 58-13. Bush would advance to the loser out section of the bracket. </p>

<p>In the loser-out part of the bracket, 5th seed Granite Falls played 9th seed University Prep. Granite Falls would win, 42-38 as University Prep would see their season end. 6th seed Eastside Prep would play 7th seed South Whidbey. South Whidbey would win, 28-20 and advance while Eastside Prep would have their season end.</p>

<p>In the Emerald Sound 1A championship game, 1 seed Kings would play 2 seed Cedar Park Christian. Both teams would advance to the state tournament regardless but, Kings would win, 72-43 and claim the league title. </p>

<p>In the loser out section, the losers of the semi-finals games would play each other. The winner would advance to the state tournament while the loser would go to the District 1/2 crossover. Bush would win, 43-39 to advance to state. Bear Creek will go to the District 1/2 crossover for another chance to go to state.</p>

<p>In the other loser-out game, Granite Falls played South Whidbey. The winner would advance to the District 1/2 crossover and the loser would be eliminated entirely. Granite Falls would win, 40-35 to advance. South Whidbey would have their season end.</p>

<p>The top 2 seeds from District 1 will play the 4th and the 5th seeds from District 2 for 2 more spots in the 1A state tournament.</p>

<p>District 1's top seed Lynden Christian took on District 2's number 5 seed, Granite Falls. The Lyncs would win big, 77-6 and advance to state.</p>

<p>Districts 1's 2nd team, Nooksack Valley, would take on District 2's number 6 seed, Bear Creek. Nooksack Valley would win, 64-16 and advance to state. </p>
