<p>With the state tournaments looming and teams securing their spots for a chance to win a state title, I took a look into each district within each class to see who's headed to the state tournaments.</p>

<p>In the play-in game, 8th seed Nathan Hale beat 9th seed Evergreen (Seattle) by a score of 32-16 to advance. Evergreen's season would end.</p>

<p>The bracket now turns into double elimination. 1 seed Cedarcrest beat 8th seed Nathan Hale, 36-22. Nathan Hale would go to the loser out section of the bracket. 7 seed Foster would upset 2nd seed Cheif Sealth, 61-54 to advance on. Cheif Sealth would go to the loser out section of the bracket. 3 seed Sultan would beat 6th seed Lindbergh, 59-22. Lindbergh would go to the loser out section of the bracket. 5th seed Renton would beat 4th seed Cleveland, 49-38. Cleveland would go to the loser out section of the bracket.</p>

<p>In the semi-final part of the bracket, 1 seed Cedarcrest played 5th seed Renton. Renton would win, 43-37 to upset Cedarcrest and advance. Cedarcrest would go to the loser out section of the bracket. 3 seed Sultan played 7th seed Foster. Sultan would win, 35-27. Foster would go to the loser out section of the bracket. </p>

<p>In the loser out section of the bracket, 2 seed Cheif Sealth played 6 seed Lindbergh. Cheif Sealth would win to advance while Lindbergh would see their season end. 4th seed Cleveland played 8th seed Nathan Hale. Cleveland would win and advance while Nathan Hale would see their season end.</p>

<p>In the 2A District 2 championship game, 3 seed Sultan played 5th seed Renton. Both teams would advance to state regardless. Renton would claim the district championship, 46-38. Renton played an extremely tough regular season schedule, going 1-10 in the KingCo Mountain which they are the only 2A team in. Leilah Spaulding is the only senior on this young RedHawk team with Teagan Petek being the only other returner.</p>

<p>In the loser out section of the bracket, top seed Cedarcrest would play 2 seed Cheif Sealth. Cedarcrest would win, 51-37, would end Cheif Sealth's season. Kaylee Roger, Co-DPOY in the KingCo Lake division, continues to shine on the defensive side. In the other loser out game, 4 seed Cleveland beat 7 seed Foster, 50-48 to end Foster's season.</p>

<p>With one more spot left in this district for a place in the 2A state tournament, Cedarcrest took on Cleveland. It was a hard fought game but Cedarcrest would win, 46-33 and advance on while Cleveland would have their season end. Avery Dice, 1st team all KingCo Lake division, has been a steady player all season for the team. </p>
