[player_tooltip player_id='381325' first='Mylie' last='Butler'] is making a name for herself this season. Playing PG for 7A Albertville she has handled the role well and has come up big multiple times this season. However, during the Sweet 16 she came up huge against Vestavia Hills. Mylie showed great game management skills, ability to control the ball and tempo, and consistently beat the press up the court. She displayed her ability to score off the dribble, knock down the 3 ball, and get to the basket while finishing through contact. It was a great performance for the sophomore guard who led the team with 24 points. [player_tooltip player_id='381325' first='Mylie' last='Butler'] is someone whose name you will start to hear more going forward!

[player_tooltip player_id='1207417' first='Kristen' last='Winston'] is a name that a decent amount of people know already, but if not, you're about to. Kristen is a 5'11 "combo guard in the class of 2029—yes, an 8th grader. She's able to play high-level basketball against the best and can do a little of everything well. She can shoot, pass, rebound, defend, and create for herself and look very comfortable and composed well beyond her years. Kristen is on pace to be the top player in the state of Alabama in the near future.

Zimri Craig c/o 2027 led Ft Payne in a 2nd half comeback against Homewood in the Sweet 16. She was the anchor of the team as she did everything. She showed the basic fundamentals of her game & high basketball IQ. She made passes that led to easy points and impacted the defensive end by getting multiple defections, steals, and blocks. Shooting the ball for her is not an issue and getting the rebound and going cost to cost is definitely in her game. Zimiri is a player whose stock is on the rise for the sophomore guard.

Libby is a Senior Guard who can play the game well. She led her team to a sweet 16-win against Gadsden City. She showed great poise and controlled the game from start to finish. She was 3-3 from 3 and had multiple assists to her teammates getting them easy buckets while leading everyone with 20 points. Libby will be a solid PG at the colligate level.

Samarian is one of the best pure point guards in her class. She controls the whole game and runs the offense without skipping a beat. Samarian gets her teammates involved with her unselfish play but has no problem scoring at will. She is crafty and very skilled and has a good shot from beyond the arc. She led her team to a win over Jacksonville with 13pts & 7 assist while the defense was solely geared to stop her, as she showed she was the best player without scoring a ton. Franklin has multiple 30pt games this season as she at times will just take over a game. She's a candidate for top 5A player of the year & will be a big addition to a school at the next level.
