<p>To wrap up this push to the end of the regular season here is a look at nine athletes who will be playing on teams searching for post-season upsets.</p>

<p>Some play on teams in the middle of the pack of their respective regions, while others are playing on teams considered real underdogs to win a postseason game.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='621241' first='Paityn' last='Fritz']</strong>, 6'2”, C, Salina South, ‘26</p>

<p>Fritz is ranked No. 3 overall in the Kanas Class of 2026. Salina South has a winnings record at 9-7, but there are 10 teams in front of them in the Class 5A Western Sub-State. Fritz is carrying the load for the Cougars almost averaging a double-double for the season. She is scoring 16.3 points and grabbing 8.4 rebounds per contest. She is a dual-sport athlete also ranked on Pre Dig Kanas. To my knowledge, she is still an uncommitted athlete.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1003150' first='Queen' last='Chalmers']</strong>, 5'3”, PG, Wichita Southeast, ‘28</p>

<p>Chalmers is ranked No. 34 overall in the Kansas Class of 2028. Chalmers is having a solid freshman season for the Golden Buffaloes. Southeast has a record of 10-7 in the Class 6A West Region. Eight teams are ahead of Southeast in the region. A post-season match-up against No. 1 seed Derby might be in their future. Chalmers is scoring 7.9 points per game as well as 2.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 3.4 steals.</p>

<p>McGlory is ranked No. 9 overall by Prep Girls Hoops Kansas in the Class of 2026. The Chargers are struggling with a 4-11 record in Class 5A. McGlory leads the leads West in scoring with an average of 15.1 points per game. She is currently ahead of her scoring average of 13.2 points her game during her sophomore season. She is filling up her junior season stat line with averages of 4.5 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 3.3 steals per contest.</p>

<p>Schmidt is ranked No. 64 overall in the Kansas Class of 2027. Schmidt is filling up the bucket for the Lions. She is scoring 12.5 points per game as a sophomore. She is also averaging 6.1 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 2.5 steals per contest. Goddard is 6-11 after 17 games and will be a lower seed in the Class 5A West Region.</p>

Brooks is scoring 12.4 points per game for the Bluejays. She has had an impact on the defensive end of the court for Norton as she is averaging 3.1 steals and 6.4 rebounds per contest.</p>

<p>Stindt is ranked No. 128 overall in the Kansas Class of 2025. Stindt is scoring 15.2 points per game for the Buffaloes of Republic County. She is scoring 15.2 points per game and shooting 36 percent from 3-point range. At 4-14 in the Class 2A Moundridge region, Republic County will be a long shot to qualify for state.</p>

<p>Kremeier is ranked No. 145 overall in the Kansas Class of 2025. The Railroaders are 6-11 and will be competing in the Class 2A Yates Center Region. Kremeier is the leading scorer for Herington. She is scoring at a pace of 13.8 points per contest and is shooting 75 percent from the free-throw line. She has converted on 46 shots from 3-point range.</p>

She is also grabbing 8.6 rebounds and 4.5 steals per game. She is a natural athlete who is also ranked by Prep Dig Kansas. The Rams are 3-14 and will be a Cinderella Team in the Class 2A Yates Center region.</p>

She is a space-eater in the paint and has been cleaning the glass to the tune of eight rebounds per game. Ellis is 8-10 and is fighting for Class 1A DII seeding in the Rawlins County Region with Decatur (10-8), Stockton (9-10), and Greeley County (8-9).</p>
