[player_tooltip player_id='835415' first='Presley' last='Zeutenhorst'] of Southeast Polk is a player that is going to be able to produce in the right system in college, if that's what she chooses to do. Zeutenhorst is a SG with an aggressive offensive mindset and a solid foundation. She doesn't try to do things that are too flashy, instead she uses her smarts to make things happen on both ends. She possesses a coordinated handle, a sweet shooting stroke, and she can finish at the rim on either side or she can finish with a floater in the mid-range when she has some space. Defensively, she is the type that isn't afraid to mix it up physicality with anyone that might be bigger or even smaller than herself. She understands where her advantages usually stand within a specific contest, something which helps play into her overall game. From my understanding, this Spring/Summer Zeutenhorst is going to skip AAU season and train to get better in her off-time. Everyone's journey is different so as long as she grows as a person and player in this off-time, I'm sure it's the right choice.

This is going to be an important Spring/Summer for [player_tooltip player_id='881974' first='Emma' last='Zabel'] of [program_tooltip program_id='715980' first='Team' last='Iowa']. Zabel is a Center/Power Forward, that has grown in her game over the years. Every time I see Zabel she is adding onto her play-style in some way, adding more confidence to her overall demeanor, and adding to what she brings to the floor as a leader. It's also important to note, Zabel is a big that competes with a ton of energy. She brings a spark to every team she plays with and that's been obvious for a few years now. When it comes to the skill-set of her play-style, she has height, a long wing span, she keeps it simple near the hoop with direct movements, and she gets a lot of stops because of her ability to defend anyone near the paint. This AAU season, Zabel is going to be receiving major minutes out of the post. If she plays her role and produces, I'm curious who would be reaching out with interest to see what she might what to do at the college level but she should have interest in some form moving into her Junior high school season at EB.

[player_tooltip player_id='765347' first='Macie' last='Vetter'] of Lewis Central was somewhat overshadowed this year on the varsity floor because of their dominant post play but that didn't stop Vetter from putting together an impressive sophomore season. Vetter, a 5'7 PG, averaged 12 PPG, 4 RPG, an 2 APG while helping her team to an 12-11 record overall. As you can tell, Vetter shows up in each contest. As a coach, she can be your PG that brings the ball down the floor or she can run next to the PG at the SG position. Either way, she always seems to yield positive results in whatever she is tasked with doing. Throughout her two years on the varsity level, Vetter has proven that she possesses a steady scoring ability in both the half court and the full, a willingness to facilitate for others when available, and she makes pretty good choices with the ball in the grand scheme of things - turning it over very rarely. If you have a chance this AAU season, find Vetter and her [program_tooltip program_id='716010' first='Western' last='Iowa Express'] on the road. They have a handful of players that bring great energy and who could definitely compete at the next level.

We always say that playing at Johnston is very tough and to play consistent minutes is even tougher. We are speaking about the back-to-back 5A State Champions, who just put together two undefeated seasons in a row, placing them as a Top 10 High School team in the Country to end the year according to Maxpreps. A player that many might not know for the Dragons is [player_tooltip player_id='912623' first='Sydney' last='Felice']. Felice is a SG that competes with [program_tooltip program_id='712474' first='CY' last='Select'] during the travel season and she does a respectable job of converting on her offensive attempts. This is a player that loves to move around the three point line, looking for her moments to let it go off of the catch. She can also dribble it or pass and cut, looking for the ball back once she gets near the bucket. Defensively, she is a solid talent. She doesn't put up crazy numbers or anything but she isn't a liability and that's important. This AAU season I'll be out to watch this [program_tooltip program_id='712474' first='CY' last='Select'] program. I'm hoping that I can spectate as Felice does her thing at a high rate.

Norwalk put together a Winter to remember and no one can take that from them. They are a program that is stacked with talented guard play at every age level. An individual that did a good job of using the minutes she received this past three months was CG, [player_tooltip player_id='800257' first='Payton' last='Travis']. Travis plays with passion, dedication, and she works at being the best version of herself. I wouldn't say that she does anything great but she does everything really well. She is the type that you can put in for 2 minutes or 20 minutes, either way she is going to do what she can to help the cause with her time on the floor. In general, she brings a lot of energy into her game and it's noteworthy from afar.
