<p>The 2A season had some very good teams. <strong>Phoenix Country Day Eagles</strong> won the inaugural <strong>Copper Division</strong> and the <strong>Miami Vandals</strong> won the 2A championship both held at <strong>Arizona Veteran's Memorial Coliseum</strong>. It was <strong>Phoenix Country Day's</strong> third straight state title and <strong>Miami's</strong> first title since 1987. </p>
