So much versatility is demonstrated from the sophomore this year, particularly in the postseason. Sadie's comprehensive abilities made her a certain factor when inserted. She's fearless shooting the ball, an avid driver and a willing passer. It's not about large production numbers all the time; Metzger is a player that leads to winning basketball. Her qualities can sometimes go overlooked, but her righteous play was on display in routes to Worcester winning it all this year.

Joy Robinson (2028) | 5'7 Guard | Rivers

Mentioned many times this season, for good reason though. The freshman guard has been tasked with many duties on the floor. Sort of a "Swiss army knife" type of player that has been a glue figure on the team. Not a heavy scorer at the moment, but she's affecting the game in every other way. Even while in a fight to win the title, the young guard's multifaceted skillset made her a confident choice for the coach. Not many freshmen in the entire region have showed the capacity Joy has thus far. Night in and night out she goes beyond her duties to get her team the win.

Although named a Class C All-Star, Reilly is still somewhat underrated. This is only because of a couple of her senior highly regarded teammates that are consistently in the headlines. Chernovetz's 2-way play has been a staple for Hamden Hall this year. She's been absolutely invigorating by playing a physical style of basketball and never backing down from any defensive challenge faced on the court. Her tenacious efforts are also rewarding on offense too. She knows her spots and is determined to get quality looks. All of these essential qualities are the backbone to someone who can greatly influence a game. This postseason just confirmed how essential she is.

Not sure what's in the water at Brimmer, but here is yet another sniper from the extremely young Class D champions. Wozniak started off the season exceptionally hot, shooting the ball well over 50% from beyond the arc. The lefty marksman has done of good job of reducing the time it takes to get her shot off as the season progress and the results have been telling. It's been obvious that her confidence has grown tremendously. Wozniak has proved herself to be one of the best shooting talents in her class in a short time. Her skills don't just stop there though; Avery has a soft touch by the rim, sporting a nice floater in the lane and remains solid on defense. Sometimes specialized shooters can become liabilities on defense, but not Wozniak. She remains steady on that end of the floor, doing what she can when the time calls. Above all else, she can play with anybody on the floor. Inserting her into different lineups made Brimmer tough to get a complete gauge on and Avery is a key factor in that aspect.

Even with all of Tilton's heralded players, it was Golden that hit that last second shot that won Tilton their Class AAA Championship. Her tenacious play throughout the game was much needed with the Rams underhanded, but Brooke truly stepped up when it counted most. Her teammates and coaches had faith in her to fill any voids. Regularly, Brooke does a lot of the thing that may get overlooked in games, but in the championship game she found herself in position to make a play she'll never forget. The emotion shown from her after securing the win is what basketball is all about.
