Athletes, parents, coaches, and subscribers will have to return in April to see where each of these five get slotted in the '26 Kansas rankings. New additions to the rankings are encouraged to claim their new player profiles by using this link https://prepgirlshoops.com/prospect-index/#claim-profile-anchor

Here is a quick look at five players among the 55 set to join the rankings for the first time.

[player_tooltip player_id='1202731' first='Brynlynn' last='Brockman'], 5'10”, PF/C, Blue Valley (Randolph), ‘26

Brockman will debut in the rankings after a junior season in which she almost averaged a double-double. She averaged 12.9 points per game and grabbed 9.1 rebounds per contest. Brockman also averaged three-plus steals per game for the Rams.

[player_tooltip player_id='1224235' first='Tatum' last='Schroering'], 5'11”, PF, Blue Valley North, ‘26

It is difficult to ignore a player standing 5-foot-11. Blue Valley North won the Class 6A State Title behind two athletes headed off to play Division I college basketball. Schroering played a secondary role on this club, but will more than likely be leaned on to score more as a senior.

[player_tooltip player_id='1224238' first='Germya' last='Sanford'], 5'5”, PG, Wyandotte ‘26

Sanford is a solid all-around athlete for the Bulldogs. During her junior season, she averaged 9.7 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.3 steals per game. She has strong ball skills and understands the importance of each possession. She is not much of a threat from deep as she attempted just nine 3-point field goals.

[player_tooltip player_id='1224240' first='Ella' last='Risley'], 5'5”, CG, South Sumner, ‘26

Risley is a three-sport participant for the Outlaws. She averaged 9.6 points per game and grabbed 3.7 rebounds and 2.1 steals per contest as a junior. In the first two games for the Outlaws' softball team, she drove in six runs with a double and triple. She recorded 136 digs for the South Sumner volleyball team.

[player_tooltip player_id='1190994' first='Kelsi' last='Maier'], 5'10”, SF, Hoisington, ‘26

Maier is a tall prospect who performed well on the volleyball and basketball courts for the Cardinals as a junior. She scored 7.3 points and grabbed 6.4 rebounds in 21 games for Hoisington. She racked up 211 kills last fall on a state-tournament team. Her size gives her an advantage at the net and the rim.
