Dottie Eatmon, North Point, 2027, Guard

The sophomore guard took the playoffs by storm and turned in a 16 point, 7 rebound, 3 assist performance in the biggest game of the season. He scoring helped the Eagles separate themselves early and they never looked back. She also played stellar defense on the perimeter and disrupted Western at the point of attack.

[player_tooltip player_id='1121153' first='Layla' last='Woodward'], North Point, 2026, Guard

Layla was her usual dominant self on defense, holding Western's top scorer scoreless in their match up. She's physical and athletic and takes every defensive assignment personally. In addition to her defense, she chipped in 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. It was a strong all around performance.

[player_tooltip player_id='239478' first='Carson' last='Burwell'], North Point, 2025, Point Guard

I wanted to give a shout out to one of the true floor generals in the area. Carson had a whopping plus 38 performance on her way to a 5-assist game. She didn't put up big stats, but I thought her poise and ability to control the game were crucial as the Eagles rolled from start to finish.

[player_tooltip player_id='1220201' first='Mya' last='Gant'], North Point, 2027, Forward

Mya is a tough, but smooth forward with a good motor. She's a good finisher around the basket and is a good shot blocker. She had a solid performance with 12 points, 7 rebounds and 2 blocks.

[player_tooltip player_id='1230274' first='Taliyah' last='Bailey'], Western, 2028, Wing

This was not really a good day for any of the Doves, but I thought Taliyah showed heart and kept battling while she was on the court. She has some potential and is not afraid to take big shots. She finished with 6 points and 5 rebounds in this one.
