Skinner racks up another accolade as she concludes her senior season. She was the most unstoppable player in all of the state and in 4A there was a noticeable difference when it came to next level players.

Skinner has positional size and athleticism to play 1-5 at the high school level. That is exactly what she did. Skinner defended the best player on opposing teams and she really took off in The Nike TOC in phoenix where she played against elite competition and multiple D1 players and always found a way. In that same tournament she was being double teamed and still found ways to score and impact the game.

Skinner did not lose a game in her region for 4 years and faced different defenses along the way and none of them could stop her.

Next challenge that is up for Skinner is to find a way to make it on the floor at one of the best programs in the country in Duke. Skinner has the defensive IQ to earn minutes and the offensive skill set. The speed will be a learning curve but we do not expect anything lees from Skinner as she will adjust and find a way.
