Sometimes you have to do what is best for you and switch some things up. [player_tooltip player_id='766581' first='Rease' last='Murtaugh'] of PLV High School knows about this first-hand. Earlier this week Murtaugh announced that she is flipping her commitment from D2 - William Jewell to D2 - Sioux Falls. With this change, Murtaugh will join up with a talented Class at the next level. A Class that is sure to make an impact in more ways than one. One of the most consistent and best producing recruits out of the 2025 Class this Winter was Murtaugh. I expect her play-style at the guard position to translate to the next level. She competes with a lot of heart and that is going to be prevalent when she steps on the collegiate floor.

There were several suitors around the Midwest that had interesting in [player_tooltip player_id='311379' first='Neveah' last='Diaz-Doolin'] of CR - Prairie High School but at the end of the day, Diaz-Doolin has committed to William Penn to kick off her college career following these next few months. Diaz-Doolin proved her worth several times this Winter while helping her team to a 5A State appearance. She was a player that moved between the 2, 3, 4, and even at the 5 spot at times and she always yielded some positive results where ever she was. There were a few times this Winter when I was in attendance and Diaz-Doolin was playing LOCK-DOWN defense on whoever was in front of her. I think that's where she makes her money at the next level. She will see the floor and stay on it because she can play defense. Something that is sensible from an outside perspective.

Everyone has a different journey. [player_tooltip player_id='777553' first='Aalaiya' last='Davis'] of Omaha - Central High School is a top notch player, that makes a lot of magic happen on the hardwood. At the PG spot, Davis has a really nice looking shot from deep, she is shifty in her dribble from side-to-side, she can move off of the ball and space the floor without the ball, but she definitely is her most efficient with the ball in her possession. Davis thrives in turmoil. When it's chaotic, she is at her best and that says something. At the next level, Davis will join the CC ranks before taking her talents somewhere else. If she works on her weaknesses over the next few years with some good guidance, she is going to like where she ends up.

[player_tooltip player_id='898780' first='Carys' last='Dawson'] exhibits a pretty convincing shooting stroke from deep, an ability to be a play-maker in clutch moments, and some better than average athletic ability for her SG position. Dawson is someone that is going to fit right in at the next level at Southeast CC over the next couple of years. Over her high school career, she has had to do it all at the 2 spot. Each night she has sets ran for her to knock down three pointers, she has had to produce off of the ball in the aspects of rebounding, creating, and assisting, all while being a solid source of energy at all times. Not to mention, she moves pretty effortlessly with the ball in her possession so I do think there is still some room to grow here. As for now though, I'm sure she is excited to lock in her future at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='898791' first='Jada' last='Jackson'] is going to come into her own at the collegiate level. Jackson, a 5'4 SG, understands her own ability at this time. Jackson is more of a catch and shoot threat or a score in transition threat, depending how you look at it. Off of an opponents miss, she is very good at getting down the floor, trying to create a fast paced situation where her team can thrive. If she doesn't get the ball, she can spread out to the outside and look for a pass for a jumper if the spacing is correct. Following these next few months, Jackson will join Southeast CC out of Nebraska to keep things rolling. I expect that Jackson will have her game evolve as she gains more experience and time on the floor.
